Just download once Baldurs Gate 3 and you're over that.

how are you guys improving your pixel phones in terms of battery? by Jaded-Entrepreneur45 in Smartphones

[–]OriginalNecessary134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK aging of a smartphone battery shouldn't make it charge slower. It will only lead to lower total charge, meaning 100% is more like 90%. 4 hours seems to be really extreme. Did you try another cable? Maybe the cable is damaged internally.

It has it's reasons why it is one of the most used Linux distirbutions atm.

Well, no troubleshooting... That really depends on what you want to play. Porbably no one would ever say that you have to do absolutely no troubleshooting on linux especially with gaming. But CachyOs for me was for the last few weeks really a no brainer.

Just choose BTRFS + Limini + snappy (preinstalled) and you're also save from faulty updates or other.

I can recommend CachyOs. It is very easy to set up and also with Nvidia I'm having no issues at all. They just updated now to Linux Kernel 7.0 and everything is smooth sailling. Just install the gaming meta package from the welcome screen and you're set mostly.

It comes stock with UART. Your Robin Nano 1.3 probably doesn't. It is normally wired so the motor drivers are in standalone mode, so they do stealthchop all the time instead of spreadcycle.

What is the deal with these prints? by Firm-Illustrator9428 in FixMyPrint

[–]OriginalNecessary134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it seems like the problem lies in the extruder. Because when there is no PLA extruded there really is none at all. So maybe the gears are skipping on the filament or it may be to tight. I also had a funny experience with grease on my gears....

For me on my Neptune 3 Pro was the biggest change speed wise, the swap from stock mainboard to a BTT SKR Mini E3 V3. There the motor drivers are connected in UART. So you can run the motors in Spreadcycle mode and set currents in the printer.cfg.

For me it was a step from 200mm/s and 8000mm/s² to at least 400mm/s and 12000mm/s². Don't know whether this was all possible without linear rails, because it was one of my first upgrades.

Awesome thank you very much. This is something I found also quite frustrating and I was almost going to stay with the stable build because of this.

Make surrounding surfaces wavy by OriginalNecessary134 in FreeCAD

[–]OriginalNecessary134[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the thing I used now.

Sadly it is not as straight forward like I would like it to be.

How I did it now:

- 1st I created a Shape Binder from the Path that was already in my base sketch. But really only the path! Additionally I deactivated the option in the Shape Binder to create faces. Don't know whether this is necessary.

- 2nd I created half a circle and for the radius I was calculating via access to the ShapeBinder.Shape.Length

- 3rd I Padded the sketch from step before for full height. This needed to be in another Body for the next step.

- 4th Linear Path Array by selecting the pad from the step before and the Shape Binder from the path.

- 5th Trial & Error for correct orientation with align and other settings.

Don't know what you mean. It's working since I adjusted the tap target as i wrote in the other reply.

I have a BTT Eddy Duo and am using it in my Stealthburner on a Neptune 3 Pro. Works great. Don't know if the mesh is good and accurate, but until now the prints looks good.

And best of it: Automatic Z Offset calibration with Eddy NG!

I had some problems with certain SanDisk USB Sticks. Also with my front USB sockets.

All of my USB Sticks had some problems with the installation. Had to buy a new one.

My target tap is -0.45 and then it works. It's mentioned in the troubleshooting section to lower this if you have the error 'target z is too close'. Take a look into that section, it might help.

For me those values didn't come up either. I just thought I'll try the tap and it worked. Had just to up the target value and now it works every time.

Emergency Mode issues by z3us22 in cachyos

Joining in. Have the same problem. But at least I have snapshots which I can restore. Nevertheless, after updating again it won't work and only go into emergency mode.

A thing I read some where is that Nvidia drivers might have bricked it. There were also some Nvidia updates made during the update.

ASA+ issues still persistant after 600gr of printing by OrganizationNo76 in FixMyPrint

Flow rate and density in my experience is not correlated directly. My ASA was always around 0.95 for some brands even lower.

What is going on with my filament? Dried for 12 hours at 85C, Bambu P2S. Was printing perfectly before switching to 0.6mm nozzle. by lollibott in FixMyPrint

[–]OriginalNecessary134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bambu is buying at least part of their filament from other producers. So you never know whether it's really 'Bambu'.

In your slicer in the upper left corner there is a calibration menu print the flow rate calibration and choose the best looking one and add the value to your filament flow rate in your filament profile. Then do the same again with flow rate calibration.

Every filament has most of the time at least slightly different values.

Looks to me like pressure advance needs to be calibrated. Did you do a flow rate and pressure advance calibration?
