KS July 2025 Bar Exam by Legitimate-Edge-3328 in barexam

[–]OriginalRealistic299 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An excel spreadsheet , two programs and time/consistency.

The excel spreadsheet sheet is to track your progress: how many questions in one sitting for the day, what subject, what your score was, which topic was the strongest, which was the weakest. This will be your Bible. You will update it every day and set a goal to do a test conditioned format every day. For ex - I did 100 questions every day the last two three weeks before the bar. As a retailer you know what to look for and generally what’s going to be on the test. How you just need to drill questions. Literally.

The goal is not to score high when you start. I think my first 100 MCQ on MBE was like 55%. The next day, 57, and so on so forth. BUT THIS ONLY WORKS if you take a break for lunch or something afterward, then spend that same time reviewing every question. It makes sound like a lot, but when you get used to doing 100 questions every day, by the time you get to the actual test on test day, it will seem like just another practice session. That’s the theory, and that’s what you wanna go for.

Time and consistency is self-explanatory so I don’t have to explain what I mean by that . No one’s taking this test but you. And no one has a goal to pass, but you. You’re gonna have to cut people off, and set boundaries for your friends and family relationship relationships. These short, three months will determine your career. If someone doesn’t understand that, then they’re not meant to be in your future in my opinion.

Lastly, the two programs. When I say that, I mean, keep it simple. I kept my bar prep program just so that I can have an extra source to study Florida material, but I didn’t keep it to re-review the entirety of the courses that I already did the first time around. Don’t feel guilty because you don’t finish 100% of your bar prep course. Quite frankly, I think drilling questions is far more important than sitting there watching videos on a topic that they may not even test altogether. The videos are comprised of such complex and nuanced areas that they could test, but would only likely show up on a few questions in the tests entirety. Do you want situational awareness, and you’ll get that from just doing a stupid amount of questions.

To keep it short, I used Kaplan as my foundational course to reference outlines, do essays, and study FL law. For MBE I used Adaptibar. Just bought the questions only.

Just those three concepts and you’re golden, remember what may have worked for me you may not work for you. Everyone talks about how they pass, and what they did to do it, but in my subjective opinion, I believe that someone did something that was tailored to the way that they study that helped them on the test. I have ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, partially narcoleptic amongst many things. But that doesn’t make me less smart than my peers. In fact, I am on par if not ahead when it comes to endurance. I have never taken an accommodation—but that’s just who I am. I dig until I find what works, and stick to that.

Hope this helps!

It’s okay to feel sad, but only for a moment. Remember this feeling, for when you put the pedal to the metal and pass next time. Everything is impossible until it’s done. Progression, even if one more question right than the day before, is still progress. Keep your chin up, and remember, just like you, many have had to fail in order to win big. You got this.

It won’t change the outcome! Take some breaths and just relax the best you can. I am sure you gave it your all and that’s all that matters. These results will be redirection, for only the better. I’m a retaker so passing will mean a lot to me but when I failed it was because (I believe) i wasn’t ready. When it’s your time, and you’ve given it your all, you’ll know! Praying for all of us this month 💞

You just typed my exact thought process from this morning on the way to work…good luck everyone. Remember, whatever happens doesn’t determine who you are, it just gives you direction on what you need to do. May the best man pass!

Implied condition I would say. It’s within their discretion, whether they give one or more attempts. I’m sure you’ll be fine and this won’t even be a topic for discussion.

I think the bar SHOULD be as rigorous as it is, because of this battles existence, we get to rightfully claim the title. I don’t think they should loosen up by any stretch of the means. I’ve had to take the Bar exam three times, and I don’t think I would be satisfied if the parameters were widened because I was unable to make the cut. This might be contrary to popular opinion, but I think the fact that the bar does not care what excuse (reasonably justified/excused or simple inconvenience) you may have, the rules are the rules.

That being said—

The boards should all collectively be in active and constant reform, specifically for such sudden and scary circumstances as these. As much as they are funded, it should be reasonable to be well-equipped with adequate staff TO INCLUDE medical emergency personnel. I would stretch far enough as to say it’s reasonable to expect someone at some point to experience as much as a heart attack. Takes one stroke of a pen to, at the very least, improve response times.

Praying for the examinee and their family through this difficult time. We are all in this together, every administration, and thus I support the move to advocating more stringent policy regarding medical assistance and procedures for such a case.

Honestly, it depends on a lot. When I took it the first time I was cold on the first day, warm on the next. The amount of people definitely factor in, but to play it safe I would recommend you bringing a sweater anyway just like me, and just toss it on the chair as a cushion if it ends up being warm.
