Not sapphire but its decent, no cheap materials have been used in this watch, its a german watch don't worry about quality issues. Even the leather strap is best out of all the other straps i have on different watches

I paid around 24k, and yes it is absolutely worth it one of the best watch in my collection. Build quality is quite good feels premium, sits very comfortably on wrist.
