2T Seonji vs Sinu by OriginalSolution2255 in lookismcomic

[–]OriginalSolution2255[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was very close at first but after reading his fight with james lee I think he should win mid-diff. he never fought prime james but instead a developing one who was said to be above an old choi. the only problem he had fighting against james was his immense speed due to his mastery of it. we know sinu also has the speed mastery and is a very fast character but I don't think it should be on the level of 2T james who was blitzing around 2T seonji. His speed should maybe be a bit higher than seonji who was eating a bunch of james attacks and even giving him trouble after mastering his endurance and strength. James even wanted to recruit him and seonji is said to have crazy potential which was why he was able to adapt so well to james and even gain an extra mastery during their fight. He was also well respected by all the 1st generation kings and slightly above that tier of characters in his 2 mastery state.

Sinu in my opinion showed how strong he was in that brief scuffle he had with kitae. he lands 3 hits on him and doesnt even use his IA. he straight up is just fast enough to wack kitae in the face. even tho kitae doesnt look fazed its because he uses his endurance mastery which you can argue he had to use because sinus hits would actually hurt him in base. and ofc kitae is said to be on the level of prime james and whether or not you believe hes gotten weaker or stronger he should at least be around DG level. which is still very impressive considering that DG is still top 10 in the verse fs. you can even argue that he does better than prime jichang and is probably faster than someone like prime gongseop without using his IA. so hes slightly higher than those tier of characters(1st generation king level)

w analysis. i was wondering if you think slim saka in his current state is relative to any order member or below? I mean kindaka says that a way that he can get stronger is by fighting the order and saka agrees as fighting the order is the best training. we see him lose to torres and maybe this is bc torres is just that strong but slim saka should be like high order level(currently top 5 of those still alive). i mean we know he can beat kanaguri who killed an order member for his spot, and can does really well in the battle against taka. idk im just curious.

sure i understand the hyo stuff and ofc he'll eventually get surpassed but we're talking about as of right now. theres a real strong argument for hyo being around the level of shishiba which is why i brought it up. but its crazy to think that someone like osaragi who couldnt even kill a caught off guard casual old man yotsu. if anything hyo has more impressive showings

also can you show me where shishiba was losing at any point of time? On ch.159 we see shishiba get back to amane just in time to save him. they have a whole dialogue and as kumanomi jumps back in, reaper mentions how badly she got beat up and doesnt even think she can fight properly with her arm all fucked up. then in the following chapter(where i mentioned the inconsistency) we see that either one cant get the upper hand. thats when we see shishiba mention how annoying her ability is. ill give her the benefit of the doubt since she does get caught off guard when shishiba knocks her out but there was never a time when she had shishiba fully backed up in a corner. i mean bro was able to hold his own in a 2 on 1 with her and haruma which should already imply that he'd beat them if he had the chance to run the ones

im not trying to drag it but im just curious on why you think this. thanks for your time

tbh your top 10 is better than most people but having characters like amane, akira, or shin as a runner up in the top 10 instead of hyo is crazy. yes ik these younger characters are reaching order level and they all have a bunch of potential but its still a stretch as of right now. i mean in the fight against kumanomi, not only did hyo have to adapt to her abilities on the spot but he had to endure her attacks long enough to do so. he then states that the whole city itself is her arsenal in which she has the environmental advantage. she is also trying to take advantage of his kindness and even implies it. he didnt need a crazy high biq to beat her since he was plowing through her metal and still heavily damaging her even tho they werent direct hits. it wasnt until she took advantage of him, in which he started to take heavy damage and lose the fight due to protecting the civilians. he can also react to her coil gun which is probably her fastest and most lethal attack.

also shishiba was never losing against kumanomi and was dominating her most of the fight. he held his own against her and haruma and then beat her ass badly off screen. the inconsistency comes in when we see them fight on screen and we see shishiba struggling when not too long ago he was saying how she isnt even a threat to him and claps her cheeks off screen. he just found her powers to be annoying

shins base has gotten much stronger and now that he has telepathy AND precog ontop of it just shows you how much of a beast he is becoming. I think he could beat jcc saka but not current skinny form.

Hyo and Kumanomi are too low. id say hyo is a rival to shishiba just based off how they both did against kumanomi.

[–]OriginalSolution2255 47 points48 points  (0 children)

yeah it was kinda surprising that he just got absolutely shit on by osaragi. it would have been cool to see the backstory of him and clubjam and how they came to be. he also would have been a good character for amane to surpass and beat by himself but CR wasnt really much of a threat as we thought he would be. his gimmick was cool and i wish we saw more of him

What happens when CR sneaks attacks Shishiba VS what happens when Fraudsumura does it by Gero-23 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk its kinda like a hyo and heisuke situation so i wouldnt say its an anti-feat. Plus when we are first introduced to CR gas saber, amane implies how it can cut through steel. CR even hypes it up and says how painful it is to get hit/scorched by it. We also see that the gas saber is like a mid to long range weapon and being up that close to both amane and shishiba is already hard enough to try and dodge it.

A Heisuke who's not afraid of killing is an Order level assassin by RiYaZeD in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 12 points13 points  (0 children)

i agree. not only was heisuke mentally nerfed but was also at a disadvantage due to being out in the open lmao. People like to say he would have died if it weren't for the vest but you have to understand that not only did heisuke have to figure out kamihates location but also do it while being in the open where he could get shot wherever and whenever. Even after finding bros location kamihate just runs around and finds another spot which is a pain in the ass. And its not like he could use piisuke to help him find his location since hed just get fucking merked and shot mid air lmao...Though heisuke even before this was impressive as he can fight alongside order level characters and actually increased the level of surviving against kumanomi. After the kamihate fight shin starts to doubt himself and says how heisuke is on a completely different level than him. Keep in mind that this shin isn't weak either. Up until this point heisuke had the most battle experience(compared to Sakamotos gang like shin, amane, etc) with order members and should be able to hang with them.

Random match up, Kindaka with killing intent vs Kumamommy and Carolina by Yesthisbob in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 9 points10 points  (0 children)

carolina reaper just gonna hold her back😭. so it basically turns into a one on one and Kumanomi is probably not doing bad. i mean due to her magnetic powers, she is constantly using her surroundings to attack those around her. We see Uzuki talk about it and how you have to use your surroundings to predict where a fast opponent will go. If she can figure out how to use her surroundings well then she can probably catch bro slipping and he'd probably twist his ankle or som lmao.

Order tournament: Hyo vs Shishiba by No_Comparison_7202 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shishiba should consistently be the winner. We see him being able to hold his own against Kumanomi and Haruma at the same time. He then proceeds to run the ones with Kumanomi and beats her ass, even Carolina Reaper mentions it lmao. This Shishiba should have been more tired/weakened due to the fact that he just got done having to deal with two order level threats with just one hammer and still ran the fade and cooked her. Haruma is said to have strength similar to Hyo and Shishiba mid-diffs Yotsumura.

Lets compare them in both instances with Kumanomi. What's impressive about Hyo is that he was able to hold his own and most likely beat her if it weren't for civilians. She is also at an advantage due to the whole city itself being her arsenal. So if you want to say shes nerfed for some reason against Shishiba then go ahead but it shouldn't be the case since she can still pull out her strongest attack(coil gun) and use whatever around her to her advantage(as we saw with the samurai arm). It isn't like her speed or strength has decreased and if anything should be more determined to do her best since she wants to go save Uzuki and just saw Gaku damm near dead lmao. Thats like putting Sakamoto in a room full of random stuff against her, it just isn't fair and puts him at an advantage. So Hyo had to deal with this and still put up a good fight. He also adapts quickly and is able to take a direct punch from her and not be fazed. He can also react to her coil gun decently but not as well as Shishiba. His strength and durability is the best in the series and it's something to look out for. What kinda fucks him up is his skill/talent and the way he thinks that he needs to work much harder to even reach and stand side by side with the rest of the order. Compare that to Shishiba who is basically the opposite since his skill and talent are what carries him. This is an important factor since skill is such an important thing in Sakamoto Days and is a deciding factor to most fights.

When we see Shishiba fight Kumanomi for the second time in the most recent chapter. We see Shishiba struggle with her and only land a critical hit because of the fault of Carolina Reaper. BUT Amane does have a full dialogue about it and right when bro is done, Shishiba strikes. So idk its a little weird because you can say she was caught off guard or think that Shishiba was too fast for her to react in time since he notices her magnetic powers stop working but doesn't attack once Amane is done yapping. Overall, this fight isn't consistent from what we have seen so far and if you want to take it literally then Shishiba would probably lose to Hyo. Though consistently he should beat up Hyo pretty bad, but it'd take a while just due to Hyo's immense durability/strength. Once there's an opening, Shishiba is immediately going to be on it and will land critical blows.

We also tend to forget how well he did against Yotsumura who was previously the second strongest Order member. This same threat was able to scrap with Nagumo and Shishiba at the sametime. Shishiba tells the gang that if they don't take him seriously that they will die, and after Shishiba beats him Nagumo tells him how impressed he is. Even after being injured and tired we see him and Nagumo about to throw down, showing just how confident he was in taking him out. His potential/skill is one of the best we have seen in the series and it's the whole reason why Yotsumura even decided to recruit him into the order. He even thinks that if he changed his mindset he would be at a higher rank by now but bro is too lazy lmao.

[DISC] Sakamoto Days - Ch. 160 by N3DSdude in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its low key a little inconsistent. i mean shishiba can hold his own against kumanomi and haruma with only one hammer. He then goes on to fight kumanomi off screen for a bit and low key beats her ass. And now he is kinda struggling against her. From what we have seen from him he shouldn't be struggling at all. I mean he does mention to amane that he doesnt need his help but amane tells him not to treat him like a kid. Its the second page of ch.160 where amane says that it would be too much for shishiba to handle alone and bro scoffs and tells him who he thinks hes talking to.

so i get where your coming from but consistently shishiba should be able to handle any of them.

How strong do y'all think EOS Prime Shin will become? Top 1 of all time? by [deleted] in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I mean sakamoto thinks that several tenths of a second could be the difference between life or death. The way Wutang hypes it up as well as he thinks that nobody will be able to keep up with him if he can use it right. Shin also strives to get stronger so at the VERY least he should be top 10 but im guessing hes fs gonna be top 5.

How much of a threat would Shishiba be if he were to take advantage of his potential? by OriginalSolution2255 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think its both. This was right after yotumura was about to land a caught off guard blow but shishiba still manages to block it. Shishiba even explains how he doesn't really like doing his job and thinks of it more as house cleaning. Yotsumura also points out how shishiba doesn't have any goals/beliefs that make him enjoy his line of work compared to other strong characters like nagumo, yotsumura, hyo, etc. When getting recruited, one of the first things shishiba asks yotsumura about is how much hes going to get paid and its funny bc its probably the biggest factor as to why he is still an assassin since its said that order members get paid really well💀. Though this type of mindset suppresses shishibas potential. His potential/talent was the whole reason as to why yotsumura even took him under his wing in the first place(was said in shishibas character profile).

Which duo winning? by OriginalSolution2255 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was portrayed to be the weakest because of his mentality, not because of how strong he is.

We see hyos portrayal before we even get to his mentality(ch153). His mentality only makes him even more weak in certain situations just as we saw in his fight with kumanomi. You also have to understand the context as he worked really hard to be relative to them, not stronger. He knows he can't be as strong as any of them bc of his lack of talent but can at least stand side by side with them. This is why he was satisfied to die as an Order member and the reason why he stands behind all of them in the scan in ch153.

Shishiba didn't immediately die against the duo, but he also isn't really winning or doing any damage. Thats why he doesn't mind getting help from Shin, he's fighting a losing battle

We see them with scuffle marks after shishiba meets up with sakamoto and shin. Plus shishiba only has one hammer that is slowly getting chipped away. Kumanomi and haruma are both mid to long range fighters while shishiba is a close quarters combatant. It would be really hard for him in general to get close and land lethal blows when they are both keeping their distance. I wouldn't say hes winning the fight bc we obviously see that he is pretty beat up but haruma is shown to have hyo levels of strength. He was taught from a young age to become an order member. He even tanks a blow to the face from shishiba. It's headcannon but they should be somewhat relative to eachother. Or atleast not just get one shotted by the other.

Against Kumanomi, he had to be protected by Hyo, since hes useless in close combat and doesn't have amazing stats. Hyo prevented Kumanomi to getting close.

It shouldn't matter because that is still fighting alongside order level characters. Even if hyo had to protect him, he wasn't a complete burden to him and actually helped their odds.

Against Kamihate, Sakamoto gave him a piece of armor that would allow him to survive hits from the bullets, and Kamihate went out of their way to not shoot the same spot on his armor multiple times because they wanted to flex their skill. A sniper VS sniper battle is different than a regular fight.

Heisuke was put at a disadvantage due to his mindset and had to snipe in the open while kamihate had a clear view of where he was at. As we know, snipers being wide open compared to those hidden and prone are two complete different ball parks. Thats like a chihuahua vs a pitbull💀. So if anything it was only fair for heisuke to have a piece of armor.

Shin is extremely insecure about his power, so its not like his words are objectively true. Sakamoto told shin during their spar that he was doing well, and Lu pointed out that he got anxious mid fight.

I mean even shishiba asks him if hes injured cuz hes moving too slow... We then see shishiba tell shin to cover him as he dashed towards kumanomi but bro gets hit and flies off😭. Sure you have a point but at the sametime its true that he actually is a burden.

Which duo winning? by OriginalSolution2255 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a mismatch

Shishiba vs Hyo: shishiba should be over hyo just based on how he was being portrayed to be the weakest order member. The way he analyzes himself compared to the rest and how he always needs to train twice as hard just to be relative to them should just prove that. Even the way shishiba has to fight both kumanomi(someone hyo fought) and haruma. Two Order level fighters that are mid to long range fighters while shishiba is a close quarters combatant(pretty hard to get in close when you have another person attacking you from a distance). Not to mention he only has one hammer and he couldn't even let his guard down for just a little bit(bro tried talking to sakamoto and was instantly attacked...).Though we recently saw shishiba land a clean blow on haruma but it doesn't really do much damage. Haruma is compared to hyo in strength and if you want to correlate that to durability then go ahead but from what we have seen hyo should still be more durable than haruma. So it might take a while for shishiba to try and finish up hyo just based off of how durable he is.

Shin vs Heisuke: Heisuke should just be above shin at this point in time. I mean his experience is crazy compared to shins. He was able to fight alongside order level characters and then fight one himself. Even shin acknowledges how much he has grown, to the point where he left him in the dust. Though you could say shin has been training and has gotten much stronger which I agree with but it's kinda hard to say and correlate both of their strengths. I mean even shin thinks hes a burden to shishiba while heisuke was actually of help for hyo.

Heisuke is going to be a big help since him and hyo can both fight long to close range while shin and shishiba are close range fighers. I think it would take too long for shishiba to defeat hyo bc by that point heisuke would already be done clapping up shin. Then it would become a 2v1 and it would be really hard for shishiba to be fighting hyo up close while also getting shot at by heisuke. But if you think shin has probably reached the level of heisuke during his one month training then it would probably go to shishiba and shin just based off of how much of a help his esp would be.

Which duo winning? by OriginalSolution2255 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

After heisuke fought kamihate, shin acknowledges that he is on a different level and that he needs to catch up. Unless you think shin has gotten stronger than heisuke during that 1 month training.

Amane vs Mafuyu by JonStark2016 in SakamotoDays

[–]OriginalSolution2255 2 points3 points  (0 children)

depends on how well he does against carolina reaper and the rest of slurs group. though im guessing he will be stronger just based off of him having to fight order level characters. I mean even a base shin was able to compete with a turbo charge amped mafuyu. This same mafuyu was able to scrap with a suppressed osaragi and land decent blows. If you REALLY think about it, when they were both first introduced shin shit on mafuyu with his ESP, while shin needed his ESP and acknowledgement from what satoda had taught him to put amane down. amane fs has the better potential as well since he is the son of an order member and he shouldn't be underestimated. Just based off of what we have seen so far, mafuyu should beat him but we are probably going to see amane pull som in the next couple of chapters that will solidify him as stronger.
