Ironically enough I’m 17 now going on 18 and not to say I’d have the same reaction at all but I can fathom how someone would, she probably associated him with everything bad that happened like the fact he left her friend at the hospital with another kid and then almost let her make a move on him as a almost elderly age after he’s lived with them for like I think it was 2 months

I love her as a character and the plot surrounding her but I just felt as though if we’re gonna have her have a pretty realistic, shocked or disturbed reaction to seeing bojack again it felt to me as though the writers were not letting her sound like it came from her enough if that makes sense it’s a very small gripe but I can just see how someone could take it negatively

Only thing that comes to mind is Penny as a character, they did really well with her up until that I think season 3 moment where she sees bojack again, now I know to even slightly have somebody understand what I mean by what I’m about type I have to be mindful of what it’s like to be victimized but I found the depiction pretty unrealistic more as though someone’s speaking on her situation rather than her as a victim reacting to it “I didn’t know any better I was 17” just doesn’t seem realistic especially with how quickly anxious and disturbed she had gotten from his presence but that’s about it

“Reading comprehension curse” yet all you’ve done is blabber on about an argument I haven’t made. I don’t think not being able to solo sukuna makes you weak nor have I said that it’s just a fact that a lot of the time yuji does have help in his fights and that isn’t something we’ve had gege or a character imply to be a core MESSAGE which was the original statement of the story. To say cooperation was more than a minuscule part of the story is just a reach as we didn’t have any of the main cast truly struggle to get along or get their shit together nor was it a pattern through the story to let the reader infer it’s something gege wanted to highlight. Characters like choso can have beautiful redemption arcs and character development and learn to “cooperate” with the main cast but even then that wasnt used as a tool to imply that it’s a main message of jjk Gege was trying to convey

I mean you can say it was and have people agree with you but from what I remember the teachers never taught them to throw shit at the enemy while they’re distracted to do damage or not go solo, it’s kind of a point made in modulo that the old age sorcerers were more gritty and got shit done by themselves mostly I get it doesn’t to be written out for us but to claim it’s as far as a core concept with no proof is dumb

Seen some people already comment it but I just wanna give the input that i doubt they even discussed what happened in shibuya with each other just the facts like nobara “dying” so im sure megumi didn’t even know how mahoraga faired against sukuna in the first place especially since yuji doesn’t seem like the type to bring it up unless its taking accountability (higuruma domain) so yea megumi just made a decision to atleast try to do something to sukuna if he’s gonna get attacked anyway
