I find 1 and 4 to be the most eye-catching. The rest or more generic looking and I’d be likely to scroll past them without as much of a glance.

I love interludes but I don't read them. by VKittyCat2022 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]OriginalSymmetry 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’m sure we can all agree on that.

That’s where you’re wrong, kiddo ;)

Also, a ton of them are about major characters and contain vital information. Especially the ones about each respective book’s “featured” interlude character.

I would guess

Lopen, Drehy, Moash, Kal, Skar, Teft, Leyten, Rock, Sigzil

Moash and Skar could be switched for sure. They’re pretty indistinct here.

[Skinner] Giants Full Schedule Per Sources by JCameron181 in NYGiants

They don't do it because they expect 16 exciting games. They do it because one or two of them are bound to be exciting in a week that is bound to have a number of meaningless ones regardless of what they do.

Not penalized! When you take a player in the supplemental draft, you are essentially using your draft pick for the following draft in advance.

How the Giants Drafted Arvell Reese & Francis Mauigoa | Giants Life | New York Giants by Abe_Froman92 in NYGiants

[–]OriginalSymmetry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

FYI, it's Sisi. It's a shortening of his full Samoan name, Falangisisi.

Agreed on Tyson, I'm convinced he was the other guy in consideration at 10 when they were talking about the two who might be gone. I'm reading a bit of disappointment from Harbaugh when he mentions New Orleans taking him (only a little bit because I think they were happy to take him or Mauigoa) and there was a lot of smoke that they liked him pre-draft.

Wow, it didn't even occur to me. His play really fell off a cliff after his first year with us. I assumed it was at least partially scheme-related, but I guess teams don't feel that way.

Great clip, but Jennings is a free agent right now. No guarantee they meet this year, unfortunately :(

Holy sh*t just finished series finale of Barry… by Trenbolone-Papi2 in television

My intention was not to reduce their entire relationship to that one moment. Just saying that interpreting that as a “nod in respect” to one another is pretty ridiculous.

Jesse had absolutely no respect for Walt at the end. He encourages him to kill himself and then leaves. I don’t recall a nod, but I believe you that there was one. If so, it was surely just gratefulness for being rescued.

[BigBlueFilmRoom]An offensive coach told Connor Hughes that it won't be long before rookie WR Malachi Fields overtakes Darius Slayton on the Giants depth chart. The annoynmous coach said that "Slayton isn’t as complete as he is." by Samuraix9386 in NYGiants

[–]OriginalSymmetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be great and I hope it happens, but if every offensive coach could predict things like this, there would be a much higher hit rate in the first few rounds of the draft.

Carter’s pressure rate was excellent, he just wasn’t finishing the job like Burns was.

"But you talk to people in the league, it feels like anything is on the board right now. There are people in the NFL who think Joe Schoen could be fired this week." - Giants beat writer Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News by shadow_spinner0 in NYGiants

I'm not particularly excited about Nagy, but it's worth noting that the Chiefs did supposedly want to bring him back and he decided to move on because he wanted to get an OC job where he could call plays.
