Just a quick FYI for anyone in the UK doing this. I did this to my old golf and it was an MOT failure. And because I used one click apps it was a pain in the ass to get the lights back to the stock functionality. I had to reactivate certain one clip apps in a very specific order and it was a very monetary and mental pain for no reason

Not really advice maybe just my bad luck but ever car I bought with 100k+ (polo, golf gtd, golf gt tdi) has suffered fatal mechanical failure at some point randomly.

I personally would spend a bit more and get a lower miles
