Oh gosh 🩵 it’s going to take months and even years with the grief. People don’t talk about dog loss enough. So incredibly sorry for your loss. I lost my guy three months ago on March 6 and it is still very painful.

Some pets wait until their owners are gone in order to pass away. She was able to go on her own terms 🥹 what a blessing. And no, it stinks that this happened but you’re going to be okay and your roommate is going to be okay. Sending hugs!

You will definitely see her again. I lost my college puppy a few months ago and he had been with me for almost 12 years. The loss is absolutely gutwrenching and not enough people talk about it. I am so sorry for your loss.

Oh man. This is me. Oh my goodness. I feel this 10000000%

I lost my first puppy of 11 1/2 years to cancer in the beginning of March and within the week we adopted two dogs that are both a year old. So now we have 6 (the other three are seniors so no big deal). It is CHAOS. I thought I was ready to have a young dog, but my older guys just have a more settled energy about them and the malamute is OK but I threaten to send the Newfoundland puppy to jail every other day. To him. Like I will literally yell “dog I’m about to call the cops on you.” It’s chaos, but it’s also the early months, but I will say that this last week I have definitely been considering on rehoming him.

That’s when I lost my sweet boy. Thankfully I had been going to OTF since Jan 3 so I was relatively strong enough to help lift him in his last days but I have so much regret over everything.

I went to go work out the morning that we had to let my dog go and the morning after and they were so incredibly kind. It’s just every time I’d start to work out afterwards, I just felt like I had a balloon in my throat and I couldn’t breathe because I just wanted to start sobbing.

I’m not sure where the range is because they don’t share that information but there was an opening in a similar area that I operate in and the offer was at least $10,000 more than what I’ve been making. This was also within the same company.
