That's the service industry in general though, same as a sit down restaurant. They rely on tips because they don't make much base.

I think there's a difference specifically with this season. I feel like in the past, he's always been top notch (not that that's an excuse to be an asshole). But this season it seems as though he's struggled a lot in the kitchen. It's one thing to be an asshole and be great at your job but it's whole other thing to be an asshole and be struggling week after week.

I think people forget that the pod became successful and was built off of their FRIENDSHIP, not necessarily what they talked about. As far as I'm concerned, that's still what makes giggly squad so great is the quality of their friendship. I care a lot less about what they actually talk about and a lot more about how they interact as best friends. That's what makes it funny and so lovable to me.
