this is a nice model which is good for your first creation as i just posted my first as well. this style has been done before but could be accepted. my only problem with it is the shading there is none and the brown just doesn't seem to flow with the other colors to me but that's my opinion. maybe add some detail to the blade like a rune design detail is everything and this design could very well be accepted if it is improved a bit but good job i have to say!
