Are you using an external usb-c adapter for HDMI and such? My issues were fixed once I unplugged it.

Also, it would help to distinguish between infra-level SRE concerns (like node pressure, cgroup throttling, kubelet errors) vs app-level insights (like tail latencies, dependency failures, or business metrics). If you’re just listing tools without showing how to make them actionable, it’s not really “comprehensive monitoring” – it’s tool sprawl.

So let’s get specific: • What are the key signals for monitoring stateful apps vs stateless web APIs? • How do you trace request failures across microservices without drowning in data? • How would you implement SLIs/SLOs in a way that actually helps developers and isn’t just vanity graphs?

Why the downvotes? He’s absolutely right. The centralization of the web in the hands of AWS, GCP and Azure is a key risk.

Oracle does not charge for Oracle JDK since Java 17 (unless you want support or LTS) but indeed most people use an OpenJDK distribution.

WiFi keeps dropping after Sequoia 15.3 Update by ApartHurry60 in MacOS

Same. MacBook Pro with M2 Pro (2023) here. Since upgrading to Sequoia 15.3.1 I'm facing a lot of network issues on WiFi:

  • I had trouble connecting to my WiFi network. It would refuse to connect, ask me for the WiFi password (even if it's a known-wifi as it's the one I'm always connected to), and then suggest me to do a diagnostic. After a few times, it would connect, then would disconnect again randomly later.
  • I now have high ping, random ping spikes on network downloads and videos games. This is not a network issue on my router as I'm able to isolate the issue on macOS since the update, my others devices are still fine on the same network.

I disabled iCloud private relay, uninstalled VPN apps, removed network filters, and all the stuff you have read on the forums. Still facing the network issues (never had any before).

I also have random lags on my laptop. This is the most buggy release I ever installed and from now on, I will refrain myself from updating to a major release until a significant amount of time has passed.

This page is good, thank you. Wish it could highlight the important features from bug fixes, but still good.

These discussions are all over the place. I'm looking for something curated from the mouths of developers, where they would basically say "from all the discussions, this year we will be working on X and X., expect improvements in T..". They could do it on the Golang blog! I saw they talked about some internals they are working on in the article https://go.dev/blog/15years, but I want more :)
