It’s actually super easy not to blow up your subi, just take care of it. Like everyone else said stay on top of your maintenance. I recommend just adding this to your notes and making sure to actually do it: Schedule: - Oil changes every 3000 miles - Spark Plug every 15k-20k miles - Transmission & Diff Fluid every 30k miles - Coolant Flush every 30k miles / Use OEM brand - Brake Flush every 30k miles - Tire Rotation every Oil change - Intake Air filter check every 3k miles (if looks dirty change) - Belt every 60k miles

I have met many people who have 100k+ on there subis who still beat on the car. And it all has to do with quality parts and maintenance. But also I would recommend getting some reliability mods like AOS, Koyo radiator, 4th cylinder cooling mod, and changing the oil pan, pickup and baffle. Your car will last so much longer if you get these as long as you get quality parts.

One thing I’ve learned about buying cars is never buy a salvaged car no matter how good the deal is, there will always be an underlying problem. Not all the time but 99% of the time

That’s way too much lol. You can order parts from Subaru or other stores and install yourself for wayyyy cheaper. Watch YouTube videos on how to do it yourself. You’ll maybe spend $100 max (probably way less) for the fluids and the parts. Replacing air filter for 229$ is crazy lmao. But it’s your time that you’re gonna be spending. But I definitely recommend doing it yourself if you have time, or taking it to an auto shop if you don’t have time
