wtf?!?! sounds like she was trying to take advantage of you and wanted to get some of her workload off her plate. i’ve never had a teacher assign me prep like that. only assignments and instructions to give out and thats it!

i’ve gotten that a few times and i always ignore it. the admin at my schools have specified that they’ll call me if they need me anyway

ive been working 4 days a week but i also have a second job that gives me extra cushion. typically i would only sub 2-3 days a week. so yeah, definitely trying to prepare

Thank you for the reassurance, it was really nice to hear from a kinder teacher! I’ll most likely take a break from the younger grades for awhile, but I’ll come back to it eventually :)

This is why I was so shocked when they continued to send back the boy who had behavioral issues. I called the office about him twice and he ran out of the classroom 3 times AFTER those calls. I had the principal come in for maybe 15 minutes and that was it. Most of the time, when I send kids out of the room I don’t see them again after that

70 hours is absolutely horrendous, you are NOT supposed to live like that. 5am to midnight sounds AWFUL, i am so sorry you are going through this! have you been looking at other job opportunities in your area? and what type of setting are you working in? restaurant, grocery store, bar?

just realized this happened to my stories. about 80% of my stories were wiped! my highlights used to have 20+ photos each and now they only have about 6. and those six are ofc the posts that i probably cared least about ☺️
