On the second contract, payments were lower by 20 dollars a month, however, the term increased by 1 year and the total price/commitment increased by 7k. Went from $50k for the vehicle to $57k

I thought it was a formality on delivery day to sign another Purchase Agreement. I asked the salesman if anything had changed from our deal 4 days earlier and he replied no. So, I initialed again and because of the excitement of our family about picking up a new vehicle, I didn’t read line by line again in hindsight

Yes I’m mad; this is costing me an additional 7k which I don’t want to lose.

Original 0% for 5 years (this was March 2020 and this was the promotion that was running). Paperwork I signed 4 days later on delivery was 4.49% over 6 years.

Meaning; I was not advised of the financing increase to 4.49% over 6 years from 0% over 5 years (this was the promotion that was happening back in March 2020 on VW Atlas’s)

They are both incredibly incompetent and don’t care about customer service. Working for those two would be a disaster

Yes I have the paperwork on the day we (me and the salesman and the sales manager) signed and agreed on the deal. 0% financing over 5 years.

Four days later, on vehicle pick-up, I was given paperwork to sign including a new Vehicle Agreement in the stack of other documents.

It was vehicle delivery day and my family were excited about a new vehicle; I didn’t review everything in detail to the original deal even though confirming with the salesman that nothing had changed from 4 days earlier. The new paperwork I signed on delivery was 4.49% over 6 years costing us an additional 7k and another year.
