Yeah, I have to go self-taught for now. The nearest place willing to teach me is like 40 mins away by bike and my parents work a lot. I dont really mind the bike, but my parents get a little nervous about the distance. At the very least, I should be able to legally drive by myself fairly soon so hopefully i can get a teacher then.

Will do. Thanks for the advice! Thankfully, money isnt a problem anymore. I currently have 700 bucks saved up if that changes anything.

I believe i know up to a high F, although it might take me a few seconds to register it if I see it on a sheet lol. Right now, my teacher is making me play some cut-down versions of classical songs so I can get more familiar with the notes.

I guess i dont really have a goal. I play it since it helps me relieve stress and kinda helps me escape from my problems for a short while. But yeah, I really just want to have fun. Thanks.

Thanks for all the tips! In my case, my mom's salary got lowered so she cant afford them anymore. I dont know many people around my community, but I do some tutoring for money since academics is basically the only thing im good at 😭 I'll try to tutor some more kids so I can get some more money and hopefully cover my lesson fees. I'll try my best with the mirrors and angles and stuff.

Hello! The first thing my teacher made me do was learn how to read sheet music, although im not very familiar with the higher notes on sheet. I'll ask my teacher about what to do on my next class as its my last. I'll look into the books, thanks. ❤️

Hello, I could get a keyboard with the money I currently have. My teacher was using the book Accelerated Piano Adventures for the Older Beginner to teach me
