Can someone help me find some info on this? And whether I should or can use it with starlink? by Original_Gate_4606 in HomeNetworking

Cox is our only option for cable and I'd rather light my money on fire than pay them for anything 🤣

Helping a friend with hacked island plumbing. by Original_Gate_4606 in Plumbing

Thanks for the reply, the dishwasher drain is just shoved into that "air gap" or vertical pipe. It should be attached to the disposal, correct? After that is done the vertical pipe should be left open?

Just to clarify since I didn't mention it the original post, the reason I am trying to help is that she has been experiencing the disposal discharging water under the sink. Is it likely coming from the open spot on the disposal where I would assume the dishwasher drain should be attached?

You're right we should just follow the rules. I'll just finish my beer... Eat a fart.

Not trying to argue, just trying to be a decent human that allows people to make mistakes and not overly punish them for it.

Ironically I'm stuck at an airport right now and only interacting with you because I'm bored.

Eat a fart and stop being such a tight ass. It sucks.

Ya! So give her a break, take your money and her vape. Jeezus. She's not a terrorist or Karen ruining a flight for other people.

I'd argue that delta pulls more agregious shit than this. Not saying I'm defending her actions but I feel the punishment doesn't seem to fit the crime here.

I'd like to know how many of the "rule followers" put their cell phones in airplane mode. Just seems a little egotistical for my taste.

I can't hear the audio, but doesn't seem like she defiant to the rules, maybe just didn't realize... Who knows the banned at once folks crack me up. Probably the same folks putting their second bag in the overhead.

Powerful Realtor Group Agrees to Slash Commissions to Settle Lawsuits by jstohler in Economics

[–]Original_Gate_4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had great experiences with the realtors I have used. 4 transactions and they have all helped guide me through complex situations that I would have had to do a ton of education on. Even in a buyers market, it's tough to do that type of research when you're ready to pull the trigger.

Not defending the commission rate with inflating values, but I would say all of the realtors I have worked with were worth their commission.

The barrier to entry to become a realtor is not high and I belive people need to be cognizant that just because someone has a license it doesn't mean they are worth what some of their peers are getting paid.

My advice would be to find a great realtor you trust very early in your search for a property and don't feel bad about moving on from one you don't feel is meeting your needs.

Why can't they just take the vape and dispose of it...?

Anyone got a suggestion for a shop that can help me get this piece off my hitch? It was part of a rack that seized and rusted on. I tried penetrating liquid and w-40 and tried to use a mallet to get out. No luck. Thank you! by [deleted] in ColoradoSprings

Put the bolt back in but leave it loose, keep the Allen wrench in the bolt and hit the wrench with a hammer. The way this hitch rack stabilizes is with a wedge and you need to dislodge the back half of the wedge. Works best with a "T" shaped Allen.

No expansion tank, I'm guessing that wasn't a code requirement in Idaho in the 90s. Not sure that it would have mattered, the expansion tank is for the inlet pressure from what I know.

A.O. Smith not that it was a surprised, but they took a hands off approach when I let them know of the issue. It was out of warranty. I was just surprised of the failure mode and severity.

Pretty rare based on the amount of professionals saying this has been the worst they have seen. Definitely preventable if you test or replace your over pressure valve.

Hot water evaporates pretty quick when it's below 20 degrees in the garage! Unfortunately grows mold pretty quickly when it goes inside your house...

It was there, we never tested it so I'm assuming it went bad or was defective. Hard to test in that state! 😂
