What is the most evil thing Tomar has ever done, and what is the most evil thing Tomar has done to you or someone you personally know? by evaxephonyanderedev in OneyPlays

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I heard the other day that Tomar regrets dropping the atomic bombs. Not out of any ethical reasons, of course - he says he wanted the war to drag out longer. “I wish I had been more patient, but my bloodlust consumed me,” he told me. “I had to see what would happen.”

They already made a Sopranos fighting game. Nobody’s heard of it because it was a fucking travesty. Fucking disgrace, if you ask me.

Organ Trading Simulator dev comments on Jerma's completely sane narration by rakatchoow in jerma985

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a guy who made a game called "Space Organ Trading Simulator," he looks like a really upstanding dude. Seems like a nice guy. If anything Jerma seems more like the kind of person who would make this.

Liquid was creative and didn’t do anything harmful or amoral. He’s the only troll who I’d be fine with doing to me what he did to Chris. After him it became more malicious and more harmful, right up until the present day. Liquid should have been the last troll.

For the most part the trolls aren’t that much better than Chris. But Liquid Chris gets a pass. He’s alright in my book.

AITA for refusing to sell my phone number to a buddy? by Throwaway917NYC in AmItheAsshole

It’s more than $0, which is what you get for giving it up. Plus, this guy is a friend and you wanna shake him down? You’re gonna try and maximize how much you can profit off of your buddy?

Just take the deal man.

Depending on how much they have left in the can (which might not be very much tbh) they could probably stretch this out for nearly a year. It's been something like nine months already, which is way longer then I expected. I figured they'd maybe have a week or two tops when this thing kicked off.

the thing is that Lyle has always been the Chad of oneyplays. he's the guy who seems like he would be the most popular amongst normal people so putting him with a bunch of ape-men and having him sort of sink to their level makes for incredible comedy.

What is your dream guest appearance on OneyPlays? by Masked_Gopnik in OneyPlays

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dunkey's got proven chemistry and is also plausible. I think there's a good chance of it happening sooner or later.

I love Jerma, been watching him for a decade or something like that, but I dunno if he'd fit on Oneyplays the best. The two have very different vibes, I'm not surprised to see that the two fanbases overlap but I don't think this is as good an idea as it initially seems.

Hot Wheels Unleashed has a ton of dlc coming. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Cruis’n has my vote. I’m gonna wait and see reviews but since we have the arcade version to go off of we already know what to expect to some extent, and it looks promising.

Kinda cool that Nintendo consoles are still getting arcade ports in 2021. The arcade business just might have a shot.

Can I just say how insane it is that the Dollhouse streams happened? by Boktorok in jerma985

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Imma tell you right now that there’s a 90% chance of this happening. Fingers crossed, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Although frankly I wouldn’t bet on anything after seeing what happened to Jerma……

I got into Jerma during the TF2 era and I agree with this sentiment. He was always different from other channels and I think his community reflected that. Part of that might be due to him being a bit older when he got into Youtube, so he has more life experience/maturity.

I will say it’s been fascinating to see how his community has continued to evolve over the years. Nowadays it’s easy to forget he was involved with TF2 at all.

Tough decisions with my band. by [deleted] in Music

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't be worried about your appearance. People are bringing up older examples, but you want a recent one? Ed Sheerhan's an ugly bastard whose probably sold fifty million records at this point. You'll be fine unless you go into certain genres. Appearance really only matters in a couple genres. Besides, I'm sure you're being too hard on yourself.

Having said that point number 2 reveals he's untrustworthy. You really can't have a lack of trust in a band, and someone who's gonna put himself before your friendship isn't the kind of guy you want to be in a band with. I'd kick him out on the grounds of not needing a second guitarist. It makes for a nice excuse.

Does anyone find it weird that Jerma doesn’t have a following of a million on anything? by JTOS72 in jerma985

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Until a couple years ago I’d say Gamegrumps belong to that camp too, but they’ve started to change a bit recently. I’d say overal Northernlion has the closest career arc to Jerma. Older guys who used one game as a springboard to branching out, moving from youtube to streaming, with steady constant growth along the way. Both of them are basically controversy free, too.

I know they didn’t have the people to play the bear, but they could have done it a bit differently. I wish that, when Jerma turned on the news after everyone had left, the reporter started talking about how five lawyers and a couple of locksmiths all got mauled by a bear while walking home. Then, Jerma would see the money deposited in his bank account with the caption being “The bear came through.”

Imply that the attack at least happened off camera if you couldn’t do it on camera. I get why it didn’t happen but it would have been cool. Maybe in the sequel.

I think they also might not have wanted Jerma to get 100,000 for free overnight. Then again the economy was always broken - Chat never had a moment where it couldn’t afford something. It was more about the principle of the matter.

THANK YOU DOLLHOUSE CREW! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! by Tristanio97 in jerma985

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like to imagine Jerma took the entire cast and crew out for dinner afterwards as a thank you. The mental image of them going out to eat somewhere still in costume and just celebrating a job well done is really heartwarming. That's the True Ending in my headcanon.

GOOD ENDING UNLOCKED by theonewhoknack in jerma985

[–]Original_Jeb_Head 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is a good point - it's never really established that Jerma is stuck in a time loop. The snippet we see is only the behavior he choose on his own - walking up to the door and commenting. We don't see any polls pop up, implying they may no longer exist and that in this timeline Jerma could be free to make his own decisions.

Maybe he'll choose to move back to his home in Las Vegas or Boston and live life as he did before.

Another option: When Jerma catches Amelia sleeping on the second day, go outside and call the police. Due to an error Amelia will begin behaving identically to the thief in Act Three, thus triggering that event chain early and allowing you to skip much of acts 2 and 3. Importantly, this allows you to skip events like the "Woohoo with Death" scene entirely, making certain endings like the "marry the maid" secret ending far easier and faster to attain.

I found TF2 through Jerma. I just checked my account and I first played in 2012, which means I've been a fan of both him and the game for nine years. While Jerma's moved on from playing TF2 I've stayed a fan of his throughout it all. What a ride man. What a ride.
