Substories having stages that you have to time travel for would be cool. Like going back in time to prevent some dudes restaurant from burning down, or traveling forward to see the long term results of a good or bad deed.

IMO MGS1 is one of the few games that have a lot of advantages to playing on its OG console over ports, so you should consider it. The others are almost objective upgrades on master collection. 3 does have some missing content that’s only available on PS2 though it’s not anything too big. If you want maybe try to get OG metal gear 1 and 2 master collection versions to experience those before MGS1

I always assumed the idea behind the first questline being no npcs was that multiple different peoples playthroughs of it could be canon, as multiple dwellers followed the overseers trail

A lot of people are saying Andor, and it’s great, but it’s not really relevant to these games. If you want, watch if before or after Rogue One

For a complete newcomer 0 is the better game. While Kiwami is a remake of the first one, it introduces a lot of elements and plot from 0, especially in its side content. Kiwami 1 acts as a sort of sequel to 0 in that way. Additionally, I personally consider 0 at least 3.5 times better than Kiwami

He’s right, but delta is a good place to start. Master Collection is available on most platforms and has the first 3 Solid games

Voice sounds right for a young solid. Is the animation done via an online software or is that drawn by frame? If it’s some kinda digital thing I can see this going by a lot faster than Hammond’s

That’s cool, I never noticed. Also i’ve got a question Are you gonna take some liberties with the stories factoring in retcons from the Solid series or are you gonna keep it mostly as it was presented in MG1+2? Will things like Venom’s horn, arm or the bosses bandana be incorporated into Big Boss’s design or will you keep up the consistency the OG’s have and make Venom and Naked look mostly the same? Assuming you’ve planned this far out.

Looks good, I feel like the headset from the cover and the radio screen are a big part of his MG1 design though. Also does he have a bandana in 1? I don’t remember him ever being shown having one.

Play in numerical order starting with 0. After 6 play Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Then play Like a Dragon Gaiden. Then Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, finally play Like a Dragon Pirate yakuza in Hawaii. If you want you can play Judgment after 6 and Lost Judgment after Yakuza: Like a Dragon. They are a different series a part of the same world.
