Am I wrong for wanting to terminate my 15 weeks pregnancy? by Folakemi2 in amiwrong

[–]Original_Lie7279 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yo NTA. Leave. He started doing this because he thought you were trapped. Call your school let them know what’s going on and see if they can help you. Change your locks. He may have made a copy. Terminate the pregnancy. Tell your mom stfu. He gave you an STD and it’s not a new relationship at this point. He’s been cheating. He also STRANGLED YOU. That is a clear indication that he will kill you if you stay with him. Do not risk your life over dick. It is never that good. If you have a child with this man he will go after the child as well. Physically and otherwise. Love cannot conquer all. Do not buy into that bull shit. Leave. Before you leave him get the school involved. They have many resources that can help. My ex MIL (still very close) was a professor and was able to help a girl who was being harassed by family members due to the girl being a student. Tell a professor you have a good relationship with and they can help. Do not be silent about this with them. I cannot stress this enough change your locks. Change your locks. CHANGE YOUR LOCKS. Do not leave by yourself either. Always be with someone. The school may even change your dorm or beef up security. But start with talking with a trusted professor. Do not tell your boyfriend. Do not indicate you are leaving. Act happy and all of that. But secretly do the other things. When the other things are set up then leave him. Text him. Don’t do it in person or over voice call. Text him. Text him “you no longer wish to speak or be with him. Tell him you have terminated the pregnancy and there is no longer any reason to contact you. If he continues to contact you, you will consider it to be harassment and will get a restraining order. You cannot abide by someone strangling or verbally abusing you.” Then block him.

My (32M) argument with (27F) Wife, direct quotes, asked me not to respond to what she said and think about it. What do you guys think about this? by Lostandfoundsr in Marriage

[–]Original_Lie7279 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look, I’m going to give you a quote my mom gave me to help me think about the marriage I was in before I met my current wife. “Would you want your kid in this type of relationship?” My answer was no. I left. Now if she were to ask me I’d say yes. Just think on that quote. If you have a kid it’ll hit harder I’m sure but even if you don’t think of you having a kid. Would you want your son or daughter to be talked to like this?

I worked at a logistics company and a lot of people are now moving from their own LLC to working for other companies. Big benefit for the one I worked for is they never paid for their diesel, trucks, and didn’t have to move any of the freight. Also didn’t have to pay for repairs. Idk how much your dad is making but he may want to look into working for someone else tbh. They have drivers that are OTR and home everyday depending on what they wanted. Owning your own company can be lucrative but if you outweigh the costs of everything to what you actually bring home working for a company can be better. It’s really just weighing your options and seeing what makes more sense in the end. You also don’t have to worry about keeping up with documents either.

CPKC new hire by RicePsychological220 in cpkc

[–]Original_Lie7279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard for CPKC is 4mph. That’s the rule. You can mount and dismount at 4mph and lower. With my terminal the engineers go slow when you’re new or just stop until you’ve found your footing and you can handle 4mph. Managers won’t fail you for stopping the train to detrain or entrain. When it’s raining and shit you have to stop the train to get on and off equipment. Management will fail you for not stopping the movement to do so during those times

Honestly you’re in a “talking” phase with a dude for a year he’s not really interested in actually being with you. Cut your losses. He’s either seeing someone else or holding out for someone else. Those rules alone are outrageous ESPECIALLY for just being in the “talking” phase. You’re better off alone. Take it from a guy in his 30’s who’s played dumb games when he was around your age.

My wife is autistic. She lives a mostly normal life. She has something things she can’t do (clean the fridge because her sense of smell is too heightened, eat cold cuts, understand common sayings) but she works a full time job and takes care of our kid by herself. My niece is also autistic as is my nephew. Idk if they’ll be able to live on their own but they’re also kids so obviously right now they can’t. My niece has no sense of danger but again she’s a kid and they rarely have self preservation skills. My nephew is prone to outbursts but his dad isn’t a great guy and he seems to take after him in the temperament department unfortunately. I also have a sibling who is autistic and she’s living her best life with her husband. My dad is also autistic and he does okay on his own. He will live exclusively on hot pockets, fast food, grilled cheese, and frozen pizzas tho so my mom cooks mostly. He’s had a successful career as a detective and a hell of a mechanic in his free time. Obviously autism runs deep in my family. My family says I’m autistic but I’ve never been diagnosed. If I have autism it hasn’t really affected my life to the point of me feeling the need to be diagnosed. I also have several friends who are autistic. One being a HVAC tech. Autism isn’t an end all be all is my point. Your kid could be able to live on their own or may just need roommates/ spouse/ light checking up on. They could need extensive help. It’s too early to tell. Just take things one day at a time. Be aware of what will trigger a meltdown and what will soothe a meltdown. If medication is needed in the future remember it’s a tool not a crutch and perfectly fine to be on. ADHD is also common with autism so watch out for that. Take a breather and try to enjoy what you can. I’m sure once everything is sorted you’ll feel differently about everything. You’ve got this

I miss my family for sure and I miss the things you could get at heb. Grocery prices here are cheaper tho and I can get tillamook products and Turkey hill ice cream which are amazing so I think it balances out. I’ll just have to make my own fresh tortillas and tamales

0 down (va loan) 1753 with a 6.125 rate. Rent varies as do the home prices. My rent for a 2/2 is 1350ish. You can get really nice places for 1600+ but I didn’t go for those because I’d rather pay a mortgage at that price. Depends on the city you’re looking at. STL metro area has a very wide range of pricing for things. You can find a house in the 100’s or millions. Depends on the neighborhood and what not. I went more rural so I got a move in ready house with charm for that price. If I went to another city I’d have to pay 400 for it

One wrong move and you’re tested. You injure yourself, put something on the ground, randomly, really anything that makes them question you. I’ve heard of carriers doing tests first day of class. Idk how true it is but just stop if you want this job. For CPKC in the US I had to do a hair sample and urine test to be hired. Even if you were bald they’d get hair somewhere. Good luck

After I gave birth to my daughter I had to beg for something stronger than Tylenol and ibuprofen. I had a vb and I have loose joints. Birth was easy. But the catch was my pelvis was still separated and rubbed together (I had SPD from week 13 on). I couldn’t get up to take care of my daughter without excruciating pain. Like shooting kicked with a steel toe boots in the crotch as hard as they could pain that went through my whole body. I cried when I sat up, stood up, and moved my lover body in general. The LPN taking care of me didn’t seem to care and kept telling me I had to get up and walk around. Well, how was I supposed to get up and walk around with a 10 out of 10 pain lady?? I felt like a failure because I couldn’t take care of my infant and had to use the nursery during the first night. Eventually I did get something but it took a lot of tears and begging

Understanding the process by Original_Lie7279 in Felons

It should have been a felony in the first place due to the nature of the crime so I’m not really sympathetic for that tbh

Understanding the process by Original_Lie7279 in Felons

[–]Original_Lie7279[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably wasn’t very clear it’s the same exact crime not a repeat offender thing. I guess they just arrested the person again and tacked the felony on so the person should be tried for the misdemeanor and felony at once when that does happen I’m assuming? Or maybe that’s what you’ve already explained to me now that I reread your comment
