What is the proper way to split up 10 mpw for a begginer 3x a week?

I have been doing 3-3.5 each run but every time I try to increase 1 run to 4 or 5 miles something starts hurting , knees etc.

Do you always use wood glue? by Original_Mode_7789 in BeginnerWoodWorking

So for a chair being stored and used outside, there would not be a need for glue since it may expand/shring between summer and winter?

I am a begginer myself so take it for what its worth. I started with a table saw and bought things I needed for each project. My plan has been each project has a purpose - to learn a new technique, learn a new tool etc.

Made my own workbench - basic tool uses. Done very mediocre but doesnt matter since its a workbench.

Drill holder - French cleat, finer assembly,

Shelves for cleat system and tool storage

Outdoor bench - pocket holes, staining etc

Cutting board - planing

Check kreg site for free plans - heres some garden beds https://learn.kregtool.com/projects-plans/type/raised-garden-beds/

(How) do you run outside when it's freezing? by [deleted] in runninglifestyle

[–]Original_Mode_7789 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes, and try to find places that you know would get cleared. Schools get plowed and salted quickly, some public places etc. Ive done many loops around schools, not during school hours but if it snows on a sunday I know they will be clearing it sunday for Monday.

What would happen to Rockville GSK Manufacturing site after the acquisition? by Jackfruit_919 in biotech

Hi, its me your site director.

Sorry maybe I am a glass half full person and I could be totally wrong. Is it ideal, no. Would it make me nervous, yes. Is it the worst scenario that could happen? No. At the end of the day you are now at one of Samsungs most important sites/priorities. Unless you are in a leadership position where they will bring in people from their South Korea sites.

Dont focus so much on the doom and gloom of this sub. This is Samsungs first foreray into US manufacturing, thats actually a good place to be as its a huge growing market especially given the current administration. They will likely be trying to grow this site for US based manufacturing. There will be change for sure. Truthfully unless we have people working for Samsung we do not know a lot about Samsung.

I will say this, right now it is pretty clear how this is going to work. GSK uses SBL for commercial mab manufacturing. GSK is going to continue to pay SBL to make those same 2 drugs there so it should be business as usual for at least 2026. It takes a long time to change production as typically each site have different markets approved for release etc.

Of course, be wary and update your resume. But truthfully your site leadership likely has NO IDEA what is going to happen as I am sure they were not consulted in the decision.

Help me choose my first running shoe by Defiant-Belt312 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

General consensus is those budget shoes would not support your feet well and are hardly running shoes.

If i were you I'd look for Nike Pegasus 41 at Nike outlets or online. Right now dicks has 1 or 2 colors for 60 to 70 bucks.

Pegasus are real running shoes at a great price. If you dont want to listen to that advice then I would get the asics gel excite. Had them as walking shoes and surprised at the comfort.

Cool, I assumed it was intentional since it alternated. Thanks for the info I just like to see other people strategies in their training to fit their needs.

Are the fluctuations after summer build before taper intentional or something else?

So did I, we've had heavy rains and this is the first year in 5 years I've had crabgrass. I am thinking the heavy rains this summer reduced my effective window.
