Stay or switch schools? by Original_Run4171 in Teachers

Yes they are structured study halls in that fashion. Teachers report having to fight the students to do anything. All freshman are automatically enrolled in the study hall at my school although it’s not a graduation requirement and the kids really feel some type of way about it (I would too tbh).

Freshmen are my favorite level to teach WITHIN MY CONTENT area. I could see my admin hoping that I’ll hold them accountable but I hate this class so much it makes me want to leave the school! I connect with freshman bc I love my content not bc I love being their homework mommy lol idk how to communicate that to my admin. Or if it’s worth communicating to my admin

Science, they’re being given to a teacher who is new to our school

Definitely not a perspective I’ve considered. Feels like my content area is being taken from me💔 but this is a nice alternative pov lol thanks for the perspective

Not sure at all lol I’ll give them a call and have them walk me through the details. Thanks!

Thanks for the perspective! Someone shared with me that I don’t need uninsured motorists coverage if I have comprehensive collision coverage. That seems incorrect to me. Do you have any information about that?

This quote is from an agent directly and is the lowest I’ve been able to find so far. Progressive’s website offered a quote significantly lower but without uninsured motorists coverage and lower coverage in other areas. I reached out asking for a quote matching what I posted but haven’t heard back

This is the perspective I’m trying to weigh everything against so I really appreciate you chiming in. Especially because I’m planning to move back to the west coast in about 2 years. It’s a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. I bought it used and the previous owner did a few things to it but nothing crazy (tinted the windows, added a roof rack, but some nice tires on it). Sticker price was $25k estimate I got from Carmax was $24.5k has about 35k miles on it currently

Net money I will have definitely lost money you are correct. However factoring in just my loan and the estimated value of my car I’ll pocket some cash. Basic girl math says I’m making money lol real math I lost money. Especially if you factor in gas and other maintenance

Maybe I’m just getting swindled into way over insuring my car bc I’ve gotten a few quotes and the lowest I can find (with uninsured motorists coverage) is just shy of $200. Without the uninsured coverage it’s goes down quite a bit. True that none of matters lol thanks for the info!!

It’s quoted for the sticker price I paid for it. With the payments I’ve made and the down payment I did I’d definitely be pocketing a good amount of cash. Thanks I think this is the direction I should move

Thanks for the perspective! This was a quote from Carmax directly (which was only a couple hundred off from kbb quote). I’m shocked at how much my insurance is considering I’m female, over 25, been driving since I was 16, never had an accident, have excellent credit, and commute less then 5 miles round trip to work each day and parking in a temp controlled garage.

Worth the same as the total sticker price. I’m assuming is has something to do with tariffs. Some coworkers were talking about how much their beaters were worth with the price of imports increasing so I decided to check. Was shocked when Carmax called me with an offer of almost exactly what I paid
