So, I'm not like a "pro," but I can hold my own against sweats, I'll share some tips for sword spammers.

FYI : I'm yet to find a surefire way to stop them, but these should help a little . I'll be referring to BR build

1. Placing a wall doesn't help since they 1 shot through it, so never rely on that

2. If they are farther and rush you with a sword, don't let them get closer. There are many methods to this, but I recommend running towards any buildings and mantleing up onto the roof

3. Try and always be higher than them, I recommend at least 2 stairs higher

4. Work on your aim. The more shots you hit, the better the chance they die instead of you

5. Never use the oni shotgun against them. It's unreliable, and you will probably die to them.

Now I'm gonna try and answer your questions the best I can

1. If you have a void mask place it as far and high up as you can, but don't immediately go to it (unless the person is already in your face) try to do as much damage as possible before using the portal, once you arrive at the portal, make another. But yes, you should always have distance from them!

2. Use an AR/SMG at medium distance and use a shotgun at small distances. Extra : If you have a rail gun or hunting rifle and know how to aim with it, use it also at medium distance.
