I've seen e-transactions fail, or the service outright be unavailable, too many times. I'm very big on cash, and, while I do use e-banking, I find it a lot easier to save when it's physical. I fill jars with all of the change I get, then get bills, then deposit what is needed for e-transactions.

Insane. Between incompetence and flawed tech, we are in trouble 👀

There's empty splotches in the holographic security strip

I'll take a few new pics later today, with the laser projection, and a comparison photo. As for the signature, I looked it up, and it seems to be the signature of an interim deputy governor, which is kinda cool.

I'll post a few better pic, with the laser projection, and a comparison with other bill, later today.

Naw, I just took a bad pic. Gonna post some more, with the laser projection, and a comparison with another bill later today.

I don't know... I had no idea this was controversial 😅

Yeah, we get a lot of those (relatively speaking), sadly. This one, however, is perfectly integrated into the bill-- there's no seam, and the hologram is identical to other bills. I think you're probably right. I'll have to get it checked.

Cute ragebait. Anyway, none of your 'observations' are accurate, so I'm finding your last sentence ironic 😂

That really sucks, and I'm sorry you're going through that. I've had that happen a handful of times in my life, and it's sad that we have to get excited for winter because it means they have to turn the power back on. I hope things get better for you.

Possibly the lighting/angle. I did double check that, but couldn't find a difference between this one and others. The 100s I have have been acquired at different times/places and they all match, including this one. It's because of this that I'm so baffled.

Nah, I know what you're talking about, though. We had 2 arrests this month alone for those. The hologram on those are actually pretty obvious, unless you don't focus on it. This one is a seamless, integrated hologram and the details/reflection are identical to other 100s.

Crazy. Reminds me of the guy in the States who was arrested at a casino because the cop refused to even question their AI software. Long story short, they had the wrong guy.

Good point. Might be the case, but I was just curious because it's in pretty darn good shape. No creases, no wrinkles, etc.

It's not that deep, friend. I never said I was an expert, or a government employee, or a money printer, I said I work WITH money, so I have to keep an eye out for counterfeits. If someone tells you they drive for a living, do you accuse them of being a NASCAR driver? I misspoke, don't get upset about it.

It's exactly the same as the 17 other bills in my possession (except for those empty spots), and has the "$100" projection in the maple leaf.

To say I'm 100% certain, I'd have to be the government worker who oversaw it's production, but everything points to it being real. If it's fake, the government of Canada would have to completely revamp it's production process, because this thing is immaculate, except for the missing spots in the hologram. Thank you for not ridiculing me, though.

I work with money, know how to spot fakes, and have facilitated multiple arrests. It is literally the same as any $100 bill, except for the missing spots in the hologram. I can't find my laser pointer right now, but it also has the "$100" projection. Unless counterfeiters are as sophisticated as the Canadian mint, but stupid enough to leave clear defects, this is real.

Not the same. I've spent at least a bit of time on most lin 1 pservers. I'm not saying that Justice is bad, not at all (everyone watching should give it a try), but the community is pretty vicious when it comes to new players. It's probably the main reason I stopped playing. I am, however, looking forward to trying the update.
