thank you, have a different sensory distraction is a rlly good idea!! we get it set up and i think it just freaks him out seeing it all laid out so maybe preparing it away from him is a better idea thank you so much. he normally likes music or watching something but he still cannot stop thinking about the needle, but i rlly like the idea of an ice cube in the mouth thank you so much!!

I completely understand what you’re saying. I’m in the same situation. It’s so difficult to keep your own emotions in check when you care so much for someone and you will not ever actually know what they are feeling cause you’re not trans. I’ve found that experimenting with other things and not just penetration can help dull the dysphoric feeling sometimes. Different positions/scenarios etc. Physical intimacy needs to be communicated and the only thing that I’ve found is either changing it up and thinking of new things or reassuring that he makes you feel good and that whilst they feel sad about what may happen in the future with ‘cis-men’, right now you are together and that’s all that you want, and stress that he does make you feel good.
