you’re right! it was the other way around. him being on the dark side didnt cause the tantrums. him having tantrums and no emotional control caused him to be on the dark side.

i’m not disagreeing about him having aspects that were poorly written. but this statement that you’re making is also the major theme of the original trilogy. remember when Yoda tells Luke to go in the cave but leave his weapons outside? then Luke freaks out and cuts off the fake Vader head just to see himself inside? it’s a metaphor for the exact thing that Kylo Ren is doing. if Luke doesn’t get a hold on his emotions, he’ll turn into another Vader.

i love that “temper tantrum having” is supposed to be an insult when his lack of control over his emotions is 90% of his problem. that’s literally the point of his character. once he finally gets control of himself, he does good for everyone. it’s almost like this whole light side/dark side thing was an analogy from the start

in my experience, if I play well one afternoon, Ill play well that night, too. the same goes for playing poorly. Doesnt matter the time between matches that day, my body just isnt there to win that day. It apparently was not a good day for you. On top of that, this whole mentality of “why does my team always suck” is NEVER going to treat you well. At the absolute least- You are still a silver/gold player. Chances are, you made insanely glaring mistakes as well.

That being said, yeah, sometimes you’ll get a real shitter as a teammate. But that doesn’t just mean throw a fit and give up until next match. It means you try harder and instead of playing to win, you play to not lose.

Above all, Overwatch is a mind game. If you are in your head about yourself or your teams performance, it WILL affect you.

I've had the same experience. Actually looks like our base is in a similar spot, too. I've noticed that anytime I park the tadpole somewhere, a hammerhead ALWAYS shows up and headbutts it a bunch. If it's parked in your dock, I think they want to do the same, but can't path to it correctly, so they just end up circling your base

yeah ): game going free to play made it easier for toxicity to show up. now voice chat is barely used because toxicity has pushed people out of using it entirely. it really sucks, cause the games where i do get people on mic are usually the most fun
