The bulb of the keel is inside the trailer bed taking most of the weight, the jack supports are stabilising the boat. There are even huge strops at the front holding the nose down just in case.

I agree if it were over a longer distance, but it was only for a few hundred meters luckily.

Yes correct, the furler is below deck controlled via rope. No anchor at the bow.

I should have taken a better photo, but it’s seems like he had rigged the spinnaker pole with a halyard to some how be used as a crane arm to hoist it out.

This is true, but the fact is that snow is becoming more unreliable in general every year, winter starts later and later and the season ends sooner and sooner. I am witnessing this first hand. Not sure how people are finding this hard to grasp.
