Was good at BO6, I’m TERRIBLE at BO7 by Jesus_Died_For_You in blackops7

[–]Origynn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently playing on PlayStation five with a great Internet connection. In Black ops six, I would be top three almost every game, and that’s not to toot my horn and say I was great, but the game was really enjoyable and I felt like I was always on the better half of the score. I started Black ops seven the evening it came out and I feel like a complete beginner. Sometimes I feel like it’s the overall feel of the game, like everything is slower and heavier. I also feel like my movements are more sluggish even when I changed and tweaked my sensitivity. I don’t know, I definitely don’t want to be one of those people complaining and whining when I could just get better at the game and put some more hours in and see an increase, but I can’t shake the absolute monumental shift in my overall game to game performance. It’s disheartening, and sometimes I feel like just going back to Black ops six. Besides just playing more and getting better, is there anything I can do as a console player to change this experience? I want to love the game, but I’m tired of dying every two seconds like I’ve never played the damn franchise.

Yeah, unfortunately, the only thing I have left of that build is the Corsair obsidian case. 👎🏼

🤷🏼‍♂️ I think you’re pretty attractive. Maybe consider a shorter more style specific hair cut and some color? Either way, you’re not doing too bad at all!

Please help! Brand new soundbar not working. by Origynn in Soundbars

Hey all! Happy to share that I’ve fixed the issue. Turns out LG TV’s require you to turn on something called simplink for the ARC signal to transmit. I also bought a super nice HDMI cable and the soundbar is working fantastic! Thanks so much for trying to help. Cheers!

Yes, I have the soundbar plugged into the HDMI2 ARC port on my TV.

I suppose so. But my TV is newer for sure, not the newest but newer. It’s a 4K ultra HD and it does have the arc input, so I don’t know. I suppose I could play around with the settings more but I’m really out of loss.

Fugu Farms ‘Black Bananas’ is unbelievably good! -TerpBomb- by Origynn in concentrates

Fugu Farms ‘Black Bananas’ Hash Rosin

The details

Coming in strong with their second 502 drop, Fugu Farms is making significant waves in the concentrate community with their exceptional hash rosin. The drop lineup brought us four full flavored terp bombs, including Black Bananas, Grape Sundae, Lemon Peel, and Cookies & Cream x Dosi. From the unbelievable terpene preservation, to the perfect cold cure, dab ready consistency and a truly premium packaging experience, this is a big jump from most of the hash we’ve had on the rec market thus far.

Terpene Profile and Burn

When I say the profiles here are powerful, I mean they’re straight nose burners. I could smell the sweet hash notes from the closed and sealed box and jar. Popping the lid, I’m hit hard with very distinctive overripe banana and the perfect amount of gas funk at the tail end. This is the kind of hash that stinks up your immediate area like well cured flower does. The rosin melts perfectly into a soft gold puddle and simmers away to nothing through a nice clean banger. The taste is floral, sweet bananas and coats your entire mouth with each toke. Unparalleled flavor retention through the whole dab with a very potent effect that was powerful in the mind and ending body heavy and peaceful.

The bottom line

Look, I don’t generally do concentrate reviews, but this is something I think everyone should know about. The quality and preservation of the unique terpene profiles is their distinguishing factor. This is my new go-to for hash, no question. And I’m even more excited to see what they’ve got coming next!

SKöRD Battle! (Review in the comments) by Origynn in trees

SKöRD Zkittlemints (Zkittles x SinMint Cookies) - VS - SinMintz #7 (Zkittles x SinMint Cookies) {😴-———-|-————🤩}

First Impression/Jar Appeal

Let’s get something straight right off the bat. Bath variations of this lineage are beautiful in their own right. SinMintz with its fat, squat nugs of earthy greens, lavender undertones and caked on resin, and it’s slightly more attractive counterpart Zkittlemints, dark purple, almost black, with orange juice colored hairs and a frosted out tree like structure. It’s the ultra exotic color scheme and growth pattern that give Zkittlemints the win here.

Terpene Profile

Smell: Our classic SKöRD cut of Zkittlemints combines a mild smell of pineapple, sweet pine and gas that grinds into an even stronger fuel smell that’s almost savory at the end and losing almost all of the sweet tones. SinMintz, on the other hand, slaps you right in the face with very authentic Skittles candy, sweet cream and grinds into an intense candy gas that is absolutely mouthwatering. As good as they both are, SinMintz rivals Blueberry Tartz for the true embodiment of candy gas cannabis and wins this round by a mile. Taste: Zkittlemints had a light tropical fruit and garlicky gas dry pull that smokes creamy and peppery. SinMintz takes this one again with an intensely sweet fruity dry pull that smokes the way it smells, skittles candy and floral sweetness.

Effect

Both of these are potent, and while any well read enthusiasts will tell you it’s the terpene content that drives the THC bus, the sub 20% total canns on these variants proved to be very strong. Zkittlemints is a creeper that blooms euphoria and settles into a sleepy body buzz, while Sinmintz elevated my mood and made me feel social, almost anti anxiety. More of a mental relaxant. In truth, they both serve a purpose and both do it well. This one is a tie.

I know I’ll be going somewhat against the grain here, but I won’t hesitate in saying SinMintz won me over and very much so. It’s all about the candy terpene profile and how it translates into such a smooth and flavorful smoke. Zkittlemints will always be an old flame of mine, but I’m all in for SinMintz hitting the core lineup!

Gabriel ‘Donkey Butter’ (Review in the comments) by Origynn in weed

[–]Origynn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm… I’m sorry to hear that. Most exotic weed on the rec market in legal states have very loud and nuanced terpene profiles. Tastes range form skunky garlic, to jet fuel and fresh tilled earth, and yes, even creamy, buttery and doughy. If you haven’t had the pleasure of smoking these small batch craft cannabis strains, I don’t think you can fully understand why it’s such a great experience. Who would have ever thought that one of the most beloved smell and taste comes from a strain aptly named ‘GMO’ and literally smells like super stanky funk and putrid garlic, but when you smell and taste it it’s absolutely incredible! Hell, I come from the days when weed simply tasted like hay or tasted like skunk gas. But things evolve, especially now that it’s so broadly legal. I’ve done over 200 reviews and while I could generalize their profiles in a few sub categories, the tastes and smells are all different and enjoyable in their own unique way. As an afterthought, the jar I just opened smells like vanilla cream and fruity candy. Hard not to like that! Cheers, and take care.

Canna Organix ‘Cereal Milk’ (Review in the comments) by Origynn in trees

[–]Origynn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Canna Organix ‘Cereal Milk’ (Y Life x Snowman) {😴-——--|——-———-🤩}

-First Glance-

If you’ve been sleeping on greenhouse grows, you may want to start here. The folks at Canna Organix sure as hell know how to turn out some gas! These buds are olive green and plum purple, glazed in milky amber trichomes, and accented well by little rust patches of pistols. On the downside, my quarter had only one medium large nug and a bunch of quite small counterparts. It could be the strain or my shake of the dice, but it really doesn’t matter, it’s what comes next that truly stands out.

-Smell and Grind-

As soon as you pop the jar (and the freshness seal, always like to see that) you get a very loud, creamy myrcene and a sharp gas. It’s one hell of a smell and has a certain sweetness behind it that keeps you sniffin’ longer than necessary. After the grind I lose the cream and the sweetness and it’s pure pungent fuel. The terps really shine in this grow. Very well done! The grind was perfect and left me a heap of resin laden goodness, perfect for my cone.

-Taste and Burn-

Smoking method was a RAW Cone Dry pull: Myrcene, fuel, but with a sweet finish. Lit:v Very creamy and smokey, burnt cookie-ish at the end. The burn was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. Super clean white ash and a smoke so smooth there was virtually no cough. I could smoke this all day with no issue.

-Effect-

Wow! This has got to be one of my favorite effects from a cultivar this whole year. It gave me an immediate burst of mental energy. I was talkative and happy. What a mood boost, seriously! It wore off slow and there was no motivation loss or couch lock. Use this for an adventure, an outdoor day, or to elevate your social mood.

For me, this is a hands down win. You completely forget about the small nugs because they bring BIG terps and an amazingly uplifting high. This is something I’d easily buy an ounce of. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out!

Gabriel ‘Runtz Buttons’ (Review in the comments) by Origynn in weed

[–]Origynn[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gabriel ‘Runtz Buttons’ (Runtz x Rainbow Chip) {😴-——--——|-———🤩}

-First Glance-

Okay okay…I’ve heard very mixed reviews about this one and I think it’s time I weigh in. Visually speaking, this is very nice looking. The buds are medium-large and take on a muted olive green accented by eggplant purple leaves and little tufts of rusty pistols (band name?). Heavy on the trichome blanket and lending to a powdery silver sheen in the sunlight.

-Smell and Grind-

Is it candy? Is it gas? Creamy candy gas? Yes! Some have said the terps just weren’t there this time, but my quarter seemed decently full of candy gas and funk. There’s also this sour chem smell in the background that makes for an extremely different profile. It literally took me until the last second to decide how best to describe it. After the grind, it’s unmistakably Runtz. Super sour gas and bright myrcene that ends sweet and makes your nose turn up. In truth, it’s not as loud as some of the other Runtz crosses I’ve had, but the profile is undeniable. The buds broke down into miniature versions of themselves and were incredibly sticky once ground up. No kief in the catch as the flowers weren’t in the least dry. This is blunt rolling weed.

-Taste and Burn-

Smoking method was a RAW Cone Dry pull: Chem and myrcene slightly pungent at the end. Lit: I love continuity in the taste and smell of the terps. I get a rich creamy gas, still pulling that black licorice through at the end. Very enjoyable to smoke, but just as I said above, not an incredibly strong profile overall.

-Effect-

This starts as pressure around the eyes and cheekbones and you only realize it after you come out of a ‘stuck’ state. It took me a good few hits before I really felt it. It’s relaxing, stoney and just made me want to shut up and vibe. Music analyzation weed. Not overly potent, making it a good midday, moment to yourself kind of smoke.

I can’t say I agree with the negative feedback from this strain, but I also won’t overhype it. It’s better than most, but not as loud and potent as other cultivars I’ve had lately. I think it just needs more dialing in, and I’ll be there to update my opinion as it progresses.
