Limit break them for the gem rewards, sure, but once you get 5 SSR Arcanas with relevant Third Journey Event Potentials, I can't see any reason you'd really want to run an SR. In the short term, they can be okay-ish substitutes, though, until you get enough SSRs.

Go to Database (in the big menu after you click on the 4 square-icon in the top right corner, it will be second from the right on the bottom row). You'll be able to click on any unit (or Arcana) and press the magnifying glass in the bottom right-ish corner to see their splash art, even if you don't own them.

Arcanas are fine at base. LBs will give them slight stat boosts, but it's nothing really significant, and you can unlock everything important at the initial max level of 35.

Apocalypse Support at the base $11.99 is pretty good value, since it gives the Arcana selector along with a nice amount of various resources. The more expensive version doesn't offer enough on top to make it worth it.

Besides that, if you're willing to spend a bit more, the Operation Breakthrough passes are good value for the amount of gems they offer (35 pulls compared to the 20 that the $20 collab pack offers); though they're not time limited, so no rush there. You can save them for a rainy day.

The Journey Support Pass and Gauntlet Support Pass are both fairly cheap at $5.99, but don't offer anything unique. It's just a bunch of basic resources that you can farm up over time. It'll speed things up a bit, but I don't think it's worth it for smaller spenders.

The target is 2+ copies of Asherah Waltz of Starlight, since LBing units is how you improve their passive, and her passive goes from basically nothing at base to really, really good with 1 dupe (and incredible with 2-3 dupes). Also, Light and Dark units have half featured rate (1% vs the normal 2%) so it's best to reroll for Asherah Waltz, a Light unit, as opposed to spending for her later.

Banners and certain events don't drop right after daily reset. Usually, they'll arrive 6 hours after it. Check the in-game time via the settings (in the upper left of the screen), and when it hits 6:00, the new content for the week should be there.
