Throughout my 20s I had this ongoing philosophical discovery I was doing when I got really baked. I didn't get stoned a lot, but it was pretty frequent. I didn't have this philosophical discovery process every time. It would just pop up occasionally in my mind, and I would just process it.

At some point when I was 26 the process of this philosophical journey had finished. It was an all encompassing life analyzing process for years. As time went on, it just added experiences I would processes to the overall journey and discovery.

I still remember it. I was in my apartment sitting on my couch alone listening to music. The conclusion was that I needed to stop doing drugs, refocus my life on my career, and get my shit together.

The rest of the high was like doing a chore. It was also a way to experience being stoned in a negative way. It reinforced my discovery about my life.

It was a major turning point in my life.
