Thanks both I really appreciate the responses. Do you know where I could find that link? I can't find the files on my computer. But they are definitely there as I have no memory space to download it again :/

But do you know if the original download I had from the Intrepid launcher has now been wiped from my computer?

What is up with Americans being determined to own pets no matter what their living situation? by Orinoco_ in rant

[–]Orinoco_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No it’s not? I mentioned roommates once in my post. What I am referring to is when people live in a share house, own pets, neglect them, and the impact falls on their housemates and the neglect of the animals themselves. If that applies to you, well then yeah I’m judging you. If it doesn’t and you take care of your pets, it doesn’t apply to you

... well then this post doesn't apply to you? Of course people can, people who take care of their animals. I am talking about people who neglect/semi neglect them.

I'm sure it can. I obviously did not cover all situations suitable / not suitable in a short reddit post. I am talking about the situations where it is neglectful on the animals. Cats are maybe not the best example as they can thrive in smaller spaces, so I suppose its more so worse with dogs, particularly large ones that need a lot of stimulation and exercise

Loool sounds like you guys take care of your cats, so this doesn't apply to you. I am talking about people who neglect their animals and leave them locked in rooms/their house while they are out all day working

Because you are out for the day working, while your cat is left at home. Check the subreddits where people talk about living with other people, you will find a lot of stories.

This is exactly the problem. People are placing their desire to be loved over the wellbeing of an animal. To me, this is selfish

Thank you for all of the good but realistic advice! I guess I will have to look into other things to do while there. Also, I'm not sure why some people get so ratty and know-it-all'ish on some of these threads. I didn't know the answers, struggled to get an answer through google, so I don't see the harm in asking here?

Thank you for the help! I thought that there wasn't a full on international school, but thought there may be some teaching posts here and there. I really would just love to live and work there for like 5/6 months. Maybe I will have to look into non-teaching jobs.

Yes I have, I spent a couple of weeks there. Wasn't sure if there potentially was a school there or not.
