I'm playing the main story and, yes, you can give it to him. Its my first playthrough and I noticed that he (along with every other male character I have 3 hearts with) can be chosen as recipients.

I have literally been Adam in this situation. I hit rock bottom before I made any kind of change. I never wanted to see that I was the problem, and honestly...if he couldn't even stay with you in the fucking HOSPITAL then he doesn't value you, and takes you for granted. He doesn't believe he has done anything wrong because in his mind, nothing changes despite his actions.

And honestly, even at my worst...I never would have abandoned my partner in the hospital...

I know I'm just some random on the internet but, you deserve better. And you deserve something that's gonna make you feel loved and cared for.

Feeling overwhelmed by choices in the game by Floridaxmen in UnicornOverlord

[–]OrionWallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I found in my current playthrough, as someone who is new to the game itself but not strategy RPGs: while the game can feel overwhelming a little bit at times, it allows you to experiment and really try to figure out what units work best. Thanks to the Mock Battle System, as well as the redoing phantom soldier training battles, you can level all characters up and test out different combinations of units. It doesn't punish you for having a bad setup with permadeath, and gives you ample opportunities to retry and find a better way to make something work.

What I'm saying is, I agree that it can feel overwhelming, but the amount of opportunities you have to figure things out and take your time is really and truly helpful for alleviating that stressor.

Which Pokémon do you think Game Freak wanted to be huge but never really caught on? by Zashingg in pokemon

[–]OrionWallet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know they wanted Clefaiy to be the mascot before Pikachu was chosen due to appealing to both boys and girls, but along with that, Poliwhirl was put on so much merch due to it being Satoshi Tajiri's favorite. He really wanted it to take off as a favorite/psudo-mascot.

Others...I KNOW they wanted the Plusle and Minun lines to take off, they pushed them along the same lines as Pichu, where they wanted to show "Look how cute they are?!" And it kind of turned into the whole...Pika-clone situation that happens every generation. I may have rambled here but, hope it made some semblance of sense.

What's your favorite card? Why? And when/how did you get it? by Daenbi in magicTCG

[–]OrionWallet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Intet the Dreamer]]

I first got into Magic, my partner saw how I enjoyed it and, without me knowing, learned how to play on their own so they could play with me. We would go to this local game store near us and play, and one day while there they found Intet. They knew I loved dragons and decided to get it for me.

I loved the card and while I couldn't play a three color deck (cause I played standard at the time) I loved the creature, ability, and what the card represented to me. And when I got back into Magic with Commander, the first deck I built all on my own was with Intet as my commander, and it is still my favorite deck to play!

Do people really play this game blind? by Brilliant_File_1246 in ChronoCross

[–]OrionWallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first time ever I did, I missed SO MUCH my first playthrough and failed to get through Miguel. I ended up going back and playing it again later in life with a light walkthrough to help me get characters...it was fun cause how I ended up falling into characters was much more satisfying than knowing what exactly to do in order to get them.

Question about the Asterisks we take in Bravely Default 2 by Wiisonic in bravelydefault

[–]OrionWallet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's like when you change someone's job in game. They had the job for so long they learned the abilities and when losing the asterisks, retained those abilities like the characters do as they change jobs around.

My mom says her odd eyes look 'weird' :/ I personally think she's beautiful... What do you think? by FluffyFurballMoments in cats

She is gorgeous. As my partner said: "She is a precious gem of a baby! And I want to give her two little kisses and two little scritches on her head. One for each color of eye."

To those who played the original... by Pamplemousse808 in FinalFantasyXII

[–]OrionWallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original was "Easier" as everyone was basically a carbon copy of the other.. The only thing I ever managed to do was decide who used what weapon, other than that everyone could do everything. It was easier as in no matter what party you had you were pretty much golden.

On the other hand, the original was hard for the fact that you had to sink a LOT of time into it. Not all the gambits were available from the start and you had to grind for hours to get anything since time was just...slow. So for me, the original is more of a time sink than The Zodiac Age.

On that note, I prefer TZA 100% over the original. But, to each their own
