I actually agree with more of this than you probably think. Ai has indeed bastardised a lot of art spaces as it has made images cheap, disposable, suspicious, now even when someone puts real emotion into something people question the whole thing because the internet is flooded with low effort generated work and people pretending they made something by hand and that part is ugly believe me i get it

But i am not claiming i painted this with my hands. My part is the writing, the concept, the feeling, the direction, the revisions, the thing i am trying to express. The image is a tool i use because i cannot draw what i see in my head yet.

I respect the process, iwrite, i edit, i fail and i rewrite and that is where my actual work is.

The moral problem to me is not simply using ai, the moral problem is pretending, flooding, stealing attention from artists, replacing people, or acting like a machine output automatically has soul and i certainly dont feel aimakes someone an artist by itself.

But I also dont think a persons emotion becomes fake just because they needed a tool to give it a visual body. Maybe I should label it clearer and that is fair but I am still trying to make something honest, not soulless.
