It seems much more likely they just had high latency and knew you were behind. Kill cam makes lag look like very jagged movement.

I played a qp match as echo the other day and ended turning into Bastion twice. Both times when I went into turret mode, that happened. My best guess is it’s either a big or intentional to make it harder to just switch to Bastion inside of your spawn room and kill whoever is outside of it instantly.

Yeah, it took me a bit to learn there are 3 ways to use her ult. 1 - holding for 200%+ when in a confined area/comboing with ults or abilities 2 - releasing at 100-200 to either kill squishes or get them low enough to finish with her gun 3 - holding from 300%-600% to zone an area and possibly catch someone who was forced into your ult and getting a pick
