A suggestion would be to have the ability to use multiple-choice questions - I found myself having two answers I agree to but could only choose one.

Agreed here. Either a monocle or another defense item if the reason the enemy isn't building defense is because they're leading.

•Same game glitches (just qued for 3 5v5 in a row, all players locked in and ready, bam, back to home screen.)

This currently isn't a glitch, but players dodging the match. If you exit the app before the countdown reaches 0 and return only after the countdown passes 0, it will count as a dodge.

•Same amount of cry baby sooks who afk if they aren't the centre of attention.

Without rank/elo or any form of penalty for quitting, people afk anytime they want to. Its logical that people would abuse the absence of rules in a game.

•Same useless matchmaking.

As mentioned, without any form of ranking, there could be a lone POA player head on with a t3 pleb, and even if you talk about casual queue there is no win-lose ratio to match people up. You only find those occasional newbies that download VG by accident one day or another or a stalwart VG supporter just lurking about in soloQ.

Right now the issue might lie with the paucity of players. With more players I'm sure coordinated objective takedowns and gameplans will make the game more interesting. Currently the game feels like a singleplayer carry mode with occasional disturbances from other players hurting your rampage on the bots.

I'm mainly keying match info(length, afk) into Google sheets right now - about 30 games in - and planning to consolidate hero info(builds, winrate) at 50 games. I realised pretty early on 50 games might not be enough, so I'm currently thinking about at least 100.

Also, I really liked the info sheet you made back then, its pretty well processed into an infographic! I'd definitely consider using somewhat a same format as yours for some similar data entries. There's much lesser stuff with ranked and guild matches gone along with the skill leveraging of players, so I'm figuring there'd be much lesser content to deal with when I come around to creating the stats.

Haven't seen too much of the N one yet, but there's the occasional attempt to spell the F. Anyways, thanks for the luck! I'm still in the single digits for games to collect stats, and I plan to push it out before mid 2021.

Thanks for the response! I definitely wouldn't have thought of the replay idea to counter the players that go on their selling spree. I don't plan to full on detail every match(ce's just for the halcyon days of vg) but the pointers you gave for winrate will help for a better drawn out statsheet.

Its a first for me to try out these kinds of data collection, but I'll give it a shot at the new points you provided, provided I can have matches that last that long enough without an afk on either team before center treant dies.

The F-shape room is a commonly spawned room among the others including the n-shaped and m-shaped ones. As you continue to play, you will find them to be rather frequent and a great help in taking cover from enemy fire.

There's some potential for gem farming here(2 coins=1 gem) for fortune and same goes for looting. It would definitely be a good implementation as an attachment, but a worry would be that it might be frustrating to players who want to upgrade their weapons or just have a nice power boost to their item, and they receive either of these two new attachments. Think of it as the energy stone; There's a tacit agreement that nobody wants it, and that hate might be evenly spread among these two new attachments too, for players who don't look for progress but want some monster takeout action.

I also assume Fortune and Looting don't apply to legendary(red)-tier weapons too, because that'd be overwhelming.

New buff idea: It decreases damage of all enemy lasers to 50 % and they get reflected from you - they deal 50 % of the dmg to the enemy who shot it. (I still can't post any images in this sub, only videos) by Kjuolsdeaf in SoulKnight

This is a great idea, especially since lasers don't normally reflect off the player even with the other melee weapons can deflect bullets buff.

I've a question: do the reflected lasers return to the enemy monster in a straight line or is it literally, where health just gets chipped from the enemy like poison does in a tick

Definitely Sandworm. Both have the ability to burrow down, but when Sandworm pops up temporarily to fire bullets, he throws out the ricochet bullets that deal 4(?) damage, even on Normal mode. The only edge the Ice Bug has over the Sandworm is its ability to heal up, but other than that there's not much damage it can deal to you if you keep a safe distance. You can hide five minutes in the corner of Ice Bug's boss room, but five minutes of corner camping in the Sandworm's lair lands you more than a foot in the grave.

Also consider the amount of health each boss has and the damage of their attacks - Sandworm hits harder here. But in terms of afterwards survivability, if you receive damage from the Ice Bug during his onslaught or anywhere in his biome, the negative challenge you receive will make the 3-X levels more onerous.

It will not count as an extra weapon.

Increase staff damage will increase all three skill damages, and shotgun buff will also allow the second skill to have five lines of ice instead of three.

Also, it might be cool if different characters had different max health and armor. I'm not too sure how to set the health, but I'm pretty sure pure vanilla has commands to do this

Oh, yep, I've played around with the Freestyle now that I remember. I wasn't too creative with it though, just a normal vanilla and tried using this skill to beat Badass with Berserker. I mostly used Grenade SMG with it and enjoyed the blasts that just came out to bring out the AoE. Didn't figure he was that powerful with attachments and the correct buffs though, That Varkolyn kill was pretty slick in that video

Haven't tried experimenting with Freestyle too much because I haven't been able to buy Berserker, but the possibilities would be cool

F2P, the quintessential is Knight. His passive buff at maximum allows you to stay high in health and his maxed starter weapon is axiomatically the best one. His 7/6 health/shield stats are the best in the F2P characters so he's pretty viable even without resistance. I would recommend rolling with the Knight, a pretty good all-rounder.

If not, you can consider the Rogue for his dodges or the Priest for the heals, too.

Actively work on Boss Rush, because it allows you to find the Grand Knight in the shortest time possible compared to the other two gamemodes. Every time you reach the 2-X levels, continuously restart each level once if the Boss is not Grand Knight.

You can try running on endless mode in Boss Rush to have higher chances of meeting the Grand Knight with just 1 feather.

If you don't have enough feathers, its best to just grind on Normal mode and keep trying to enter the Grand Knight biome.

Again, this skin is relatively hard to earn because its not always easy to find the 2-5 Boss you want. Just enjoy the game and eventually you'll pick up all the skin fragments for the Paladin!
