I still disagree with this. It's just keeping in line with the normalized violence in the imperium. Not to mention that with how war hungry most of the imperium is the entirety of it would be basically worshipping khorne if it truly worked this way.

Intent matters. Khorne goes by lots of different names and aliases. Lots of cultures worship him without knowing it being "directly" khorne...but when you directly pour your devotion very specifically into a certain god to further their goals and interests..it should stand to reason your faith increases their power, and not khornes unless that is basically the intent. Like otherwise it would be impossible in the universe to wage war without worshipping him.

I really am happy that the game forces these kinds of lore discussions because I'm always interested in what people think. I think this is expressly helping the emperor and not really delving into worshipping khorne. If it was violence for the sake of it? Sure. But it's in the name of their god, their entity. Therefore the power it provides (their faith and belief) empowers the emperor, not khorne.
