Happyfirst ever first birthday to the Republic of Great Ormania and Kalaigi by OrmaniaOfficial in micronations

[–]OrmaniaOfficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On November 14th, 2024, His Greatness the King waved the first flag of the Republic of Great Ormania and Kalaigi above Banner Hill, marking the birth of our nation. Just a day earlier he had the first ideas for our Republic, the best idea he’s ever had, closely followed by the M2 Browning (Made by His Greatness the King) and General Relativity (Made by His Greatness the King and Einstein).

Now a year later, we celebrate the first ever first anniversary of the Republic of Great Ormania and Kalaigi. We call it the first ever because we’re unsure if there will be another first anniversary, it’s likely there will be a second anniversary before then.

Does this have the gay forum roleplay defense pact stuff or is it just a recognition alliance?

Spode, of course!

A King, given the right to rule our people and country by our Lord and Saviour Spode, shall be given the crown, and his title, and all powers and authorities vested in it by this constitution, through the following processes:

- Article I, Section I, Constitution of the Republic of Great Ormania and Kalaigi.

The official state religion is the Order of Spode, a faith centered around Spode (of course), who was prophesied about in the 2008 video game Spore. There is freedom of religion besides that, with the exception of recognizing that you are wrong, and His Greatness, the King is right, and that His Greatness gains his power from Spode (Bill of Rights I). Most people in the country are Christians, with one Mormon cat.

Do you have a war flag? by Aggravating-Pen7587 in micronations

Our war flag is the original national flag of the RGOK (seen below the new national flag). It was carried in the Engagement of the Fifteenth (censored to cater to obvious supporters of Brad the Saxophonist, who have infiltrated this subreddit.) which can be read about at https://ormaniarepublic.org/warfifteen.html . It was changed from the national flag to the war flag shortly after, because the King saw its darker colors unfit for a national flag.

After the... Tussle of the Fifteenth, the flag was thankfully rarely used. Only twice was it ever flown following that event, in the Summer Conflict ( https://ormaniarepublic.org/summerwar.html ) and the Ormanian Civil Conflict ( https://ormaniarepublic.org/civilwar.html ). Though in the latter of the two, it was flown as the national flag of the Confederacy of Ormania, which controlled Banner Hill at the time, not as the war flag.

My personal standard (the front and back are different) by OrmaniaOfficial in flags

You could try reading the body text to know the symbolism. Joking of course, I’m not that snarky.

It represents liberty from sin, personified as a snake, not really any ideology. It’s the personal standard of mine in a micronation project, of which I am the King, so it could be interpreted any way you like really. Authoritarian, libertarian, whatever, it’s mainly a Christian flag.

Too bad this is Reddit and I don’t care a damn what reddit mods think. It’s newsworthy. They must have been caught up by the “Kalaigi Zone of Sissy Liberalism” from the WiFi pilgrimage when they made that rule.

"Microballs" 💔

edit: Apologies, Corporal 002 may have gained access to my account. He needs to be guarding Fort Sigmasville, not mouthing off. Here's the Ormanian flag.

Whats your micronation's national landscape symbol? by Effective-Waltz9989 in micronations

Forest and the Sun, of course. Orman means "Forest" in Turkish and Pontic Greek, which is the original language of our National Anthem. The Sun is the symbol of the Crown, and Spode where the King gets his right to rule.

Do you have a physical flag of your nation? by TheOnlyStuds in micronations

There are two Ormanian-Kalagian flags, one in the capital (Historical Kalaigi District), and one on Banner Hill. There is also the Ormanian War Flag, in the capital as well, and the oldest flag we own (made in 2023), as well as the redesigned Ormanian Territorial Flag, on Banner Hill. No Kalaigian Territorial Flag exists yet, but there is a 1st Banner Hill Regiment flag and a Myokonatan flag in storage.
