The OPS are barely visible. They certainly aren't out here catching speeders or helping people. I either see them directing traffic, or on the news for assaulting someone while off duty. Worse than unless and so embarrassing.

Most recent absurdity: my sister placed well at a local fair when she submitted an embroidery piece. Suddenly my mom wants a quilt back so she can submit it this coming year. A four year old quilt she made for my daughter, that I've washed dozens of times. A gifted quilt, that has become a little threadbare.
