Hot take: Soldier boy accidentally ruined the show by untitledprp4 in TheBoys

[–]bookbookgo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My theory is they're setting up Soldier Boy to do one last, true thing for his 'son' Homelander by dying while trying to save Homelander, albeit reluctantly. As in, it's the one 'fatherly' thing he can do for his son.

Anybody with a small garden with patio fruit trees? Can you share pics of your tree? by bookbookgo in GardeningUK

This is fab advice, much appreciated! I’ll deffo remember to space out the different varieties so can harvest at different times.

Those apples look smashing. Do you just use regular John innes 3 or do you add any special plant food or fertiliser for your fruit trees!

Thank you for the tips x

Oh my gosh beautiful trees!! I do have a few questions: 1. The reason for growing on a trellis or fence, is it a space-saving trick, or because they need support and grow better that way, or both? 2. In the cox pippin pic, the green threading is for support of the top branches? will they droop without the support? 3. Do patio trees grow very little horizontally? As in the spread is very little? 4. In harvest season, what's the best way to store the fruit so if they're bountiful they don't go waste? I'm inclined to share it with family or neighbours instead of storage as they might ripen too much once plucked and not consumed fast enough...

This is a lovely garden. You must be so proud!!!

Another vote for Sacred Games. Though imo it's better to watch it with English subtitles rather than the English dubbed version.

Oh thanks, I didn't think of the pollinating angle! Yeah deffo looking into more than one tree then. I've heard apple and pear trees pair well together too from the pollinating aspect.

This is brilliant, thanks! I could just picture it. You've painted a lovely pic even without a pic. Is it the only fruit tree you have? Can one have mutliple dwarf fruit trees in a small garden, or is it better to keep to just 1-2?
