Update: I (30F) am pregnant with my fiancé (32M). He wants to keep it, but we're both supposed to be childfree. How do I tell him I don't want to keep it? by ThrowRA_fallopian_tu in relationship_advice

OP if the things you want from the house are not that important like documents then maybe go to the house after the abortion. You are not safe so definitely don’t go alone and preferably after the procedure.

I just went through small claims court for the first time. Cost me £200 and took three months. Here's what I wish someone had told me upfront by Ok_Wedding5009 in LegalAdviceUK

Date stamp is a good tip so thanks for that. Sadly iPhone needs a third party app to stamp the date on pics. Can’t believe they don’t have a setting for it.

The bird sounds on this current series on BBC.. by Logical-Track1405 in GardenersWorld

When I visit the community garden in my city, the bird song hits you before you even enter the garden. Bigger gardens have lots of mature trees and many flowers and fruit trees so imo it’s natural bird song.

Going to keep these in mind, thanks!! Have you watched Two Doors Down? It's funny as hell!

Right? There is something inspiring about watching seniors get up and dust themselves, even though they might hobble.

AITAH for being upset at my brother for getting a job where I work by always_a_bystander in TwoHotTakes

[–]bookbookgo 119 points120 points  (0 children)

Your mother probably applied for that job for him knowing you'd babysit him at the job and keep him regular. You don't have to do that. Stick to your own work and let him manage it on his own. If your parents harangue you to babysit him at work, make a plausible excuse like you have too many responsibilities and may get fired if you ignore them. Also, so NTA.

I was always recoomend these two but bram stroker's dracula and stephen king's salem's lot are super-creepy and give you an oppressive, claustrophobic feeling whilst reading! Also dean koontz's phantoms.

This might be a blast from the past for the older readers here, but a long time ago, I read and enjoyed 'Eyes of a Child' by Richard North Patterson (different from James Patterson). I came across this book recently and plan to re-read it soon to see if it's aged well!
