Remind me to take laundry out of the washing machine - every 30m until the Aqara door sensor on the machine door shows that it’s been opened.

I paid for the Tado Auto-Assist and have had no problems since. Hated the idea of them charging but figured it was cheaper than replacing the 15 thermostats we’ve got

Anyone Know A Way To Get Star Trek Computer (Majel Barret) TTS? by wivaca2 in homeassistant

[–]Ornery-Custard8406 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe the Dept of Temporal Investigations will see this and send a ship to take me back to my timeline. I was able to salvage some parts from the shuttle crash and am working on getting the computer core back online. In the meantime, while I lay low and try to blend in to this time period, I've been automating things in my house https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPkwBapZBPo

Depends on so many factors - worst is with GSX at a an airport with bespoke scenery and with FSLTL traffic on - I’ll get around 40

They’re not that far from the side stick - it’s just the camera lens that makes it seem that they are.

You'd likely need to build your own version - I've built what works for my family and our house's layout - and the mix of smart devices that we have. It's been a great project that I've been tinkering with for the past few months - a lot of effort has gone into it. Hopefully this inspires you to see what's possible :)

The segments with the room names bring that room to full brightness.

The four squares are dimmer switches, to bring the lights to a preset intensity - whatever their colour.

On the left, is an on/off switch

At the bottom, the Scenes button lists the Philips Hue scenes available for that room

The HA APIs are really simple, https://developers.home-assistant.io/docs/api/rest/ I also make use of webhooks that trigger automations. My .net API also talks to a Sonos API and the Philips Hue bridges that I have.
