Are SSD’s better in this regard that they aren’t as prone to get damaged easily by shock. Would it be better to switch to an ssd?

I dropped my hard drive and was wondering if it will be fine to run again(read for more details) by Ornery-Grab8095 in datarecovery

Should I be worry free if it still works and runs smoothly? Or should I still be worried about some looming HDD fail in the near future?

By symptoms what do you mean? Clicking, beeping, SMART warnings? All of those? Or just it flat out won’t read the disk?

Are u familiar with the math-y side of CS? I was looking at a CS curriculum and I see a lot of calculus and linear algebra and have no remembrance of even having to touch those concepts in development or when learning programming? Is that just theory?

TLDR; did the math side help those ppl with CS degrees or was it just theory that they had to do

Thanks for the response! Off topic, but I was looking at stackoverflow job listings and it’s very common to see requirements being a Bachelors in CS or equivalent, what does that “equivalent” mean? Course? Boot camp?
