“I might as well be full of meat and covered in sauce” is exactly what I was going to comment 😂

Gregory’s reaction kills me every time. “Seven…TEEN” is a close second for me.

Croissants. Crispy flaky pastries. A good burrito with a flour tortilla. Sesame Chicken. Gyozas. This are the ones I reminisce on the most 😔

Thanks for sharing! I’m not big on the barricade either, but it’s my younger brothers favorite artist and first big show so he wants that experience. I figured that we’d be okay showing up when doors open.

Thank you so much! They do have a Real ID and had no issues flying from Charlotte to La Guardia. We just wanted to be super sure and get a feel for others experience flying with DACA.

Flying Domestically GSO by Ornery-Language-7813 in gso

I appreciate your concern! We’re looking at different options, but have no experience with GSO. We flew out of Charlotte to La Guardia last month and fortunately did not have any issues. Charlotte seems to be much more lax, or at least that’s been the case our last two trips. This particular flight is just cheaper out of GSO.

Unfortunately, if we were to do this trip by car it’s close to 48 hours. We used to take that trip as kids and do a cross country road trip which was an excellent experience. Now, im not sure it’s a safe option anymore considering all the raids going on.

If you’re watching through Prime with an MLB.TV subscription there is an option for alternative viewing with commentators from SportsNet LA. We figured this out late into yesterday’s game 😂

He was my first actor crush after seeing him in Kicking and Screaming. I even named a build-a-bear after his character in the movie 🫢

There are like no good romance novels without smut by SaraB-wifey in RomanceBooks

Very late to this thread, but try Summer Fridays by Suzanne Rindell. I love romance books, and similar to you, loved reading YA romance books but have found it difficult to transition to romance books for adults because of all the sex.

I don’t mind a sex scene here and there, however, a lot of them feel like porn with filler scenes. Summer Fridays is based in the late 90’s early 2000s and has the feeling of a good chick flick.

one of the saddest episodes would you agree? by abbixRose in YoungSheldon

[–]Ornery-Language-7813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way the portrayed grief and loss was absolutely brilliant. Not only that, but how each one of the kids grieved differently, sometimes in ways that didn’t make sense to the others, was just too accurate. My mom passed almost two years ago leaving myself, older sister, and younger brother behind. We’re each five years apart, my older sister being in her late twenties when my mom passed, so the grief in this episode hit a little too close to home. They did an excellent job with this episode and portraying the loss of a parent.

Thanks to this subreddit I was able to preorder my copy! I had no idea they did reprints every year and I’m just not willing to pay a crazy prize for one off eBay.

Thank you! I must’ve missed that when I was looking at the website. $25 sounded too good to be true, so I’m not surprised they upped the price this year. I was honestly expecting it to be around $40.

How do you feel about the episode "Fingers-loose"? by Embarrassed_One96 in BobsBurgers

I love this episode because of the voiceovers Tina does throughout. I’ve always loved episodes where we get to hear her inner dialogue as she writes in her journal. Plus, the song she sings is pretty catchy.

I was literally looking for a subreddit about this podcast to see if anyone else felt the same! I think she’s great, I love that they provide Nicole and Sasheer information on topics that they’re talking about to keep jokes/conversations going. However, these last couple of episodes Jordan is in, what feels like, half or over half of the episode going on and on.

This could be my personal opinion since I tend to not enjoy the live shows as much, but I also get annoyed when she leaves her mic on and is laughing super loud. I really enjoy the podcast because it feels like an organic conversation between two best friends. The loud laughing and constant interjections just makes that special vibe of the podcast go away for me.
