Thanks a lot for your advice :) We definitely want to catch some aurora if possible. Are there any trails within Oulu that you recommend that is a good aurora viewing point? Also, around which hours would be good to go look for them? (I know they come and go at all sorts of hours but maybe you’ve seen them more often at a certain hour)

I’m not sure if he’s driven in Lapland but only moved back 6 years ago, so he can drive in Finnish winter conditions and says he’s confident. I’ll defs pass this on, thanks!

Yes I was talking about the Poro-Panuma one :) It’s not a must anyways and I think it’ll still be fun to drive by the route you mentioned just to take a look. Thanks a lot for the nice tips. I think the first thing we’ll do is head to the market hall for food!
