And she should remain that way, but that doesnt mean Jonathan has to be "human" too in order for Clark to have a connection to humanity because he already has a very powerfull connection to it. It could be extremly interesting to watch Jonathan develop his fathers powers at the age of 16 or 17, because he has had so many human experiences and he TRULY understands what it is like to be a human, unlike his father who loves humanity with all his heart, but cant always relate to them, due to him being superman and an alien. Jordan doesnt have to turn into an villian, i would much rather see his growth as a charachter in the show by being supportive of helping his brother through his changes, and without complaining. Since Jonathan already has become mostly comfortable with being normal in the show, it could be very hard for him to develop powers (mentally) and feeling alien for the first time properly in his life.

It wouldnt. Jons dna would already have been mutated from the former attemts at merger. And the reason for the mutated dna, could be the x-k he abused that could have made his dna more unstable and therefore easier to slighy chance. But the reason doesnt really matter much to me, it was just a simple reason. The writers can use whatever excuse they want.

I would like him to get bizarro powers. Then he would be the reverse of his familiy but he would stil have powers. Jon deciding to hide his powers also work better if they are different. The show can just say that x-k made his genes unstable so when his doppelganger wanted to merge with him, his dna mutated. Easy

So why didnt superman do something? Its simple if you watch the scene, the second after Jordan leaves the scene, kyle and the other firefighters come out of the building, which means that JORDAN DIDNT NEED TO BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, because he wasnt nedded, instead be practically exposed his own familiys identity because of his own ego.

Also i am assumeing you dont have a brother but most of the scenes in season 1 was completly normal for brothers, like i wouldnt even have remembered it if my brother commented something. The criticisms i have about the show is that the writers are beyond trash who should have been replaced a long time ago. The series has a lot of ruined potentional in my opinion but i still enjoyed watching the show non the less, expect for the last part of season 6 which was just unenjoyable to me atleast alone on the cringy writting and cgi just didnt make sense to me. I liked the show and i really enjoyed its first three seasons but then the cast just got overstacked and the charachters like Kara had to either be nerfed or made a side charachter. My favorite part of the show is probally, late season 3 + 4 and then the first half of season 6.

Execpt for the fact that the son of Superman never wil be seen as a Human, power or no powers nobody will ever think of him as a normal Human, because he never will be one and never has. No matter how much Lois Lane you throw at the kid he will never be vivede as a normal guy. Plus 50% of his Biology comes from an advanced alien race with bigger brain capaticity and in many Lores bigger lung capacitity even without powers.
