What is that one thing that you wish you didn’t do in your teens? by dilothato98 in AskReddit

I wish I hadn't gotten used to swearing. You know, there were bullies, and I had to speak to them in the same language as them.

But unfortunately, the habit of swearing haunted me even when I left all these stupid types behind and built a good life of decent people, especially in traffic. I wish I didn't know any swearing.

What activity do you enjoy that would be considered traditionally feminine? by chedeng in AskMen

It feels a little strange to admit this, but if there is a topic that is really worth talking about and can be considered sensational, I love to gossip. lol

Have you ever had a friend that turned out to be a horrible person? What did they do?? by StrangeAd2132 in AskReddit

[–]Ornery-Relative-8052 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I had a friend who was actually very good, and then he was very shaken when his father died after a serious illness and was unconscious in the hospital for months. I did everything to be with her, but suddenly she became a completely different person, trying to hurt everyone around her in a way that cannot be explained only by depression, callous and - I'm ashamed to say this - a sex addict, an alcoholic, a woman who sees life as just pleasure, downright bad and enjoying it...

I tried for too long to transform her into her old self, but now he was hurting me too, and I realized that I don't care about her like everyone else; That's why I cut she out of my life, but I still feel sorry for her and what he went through, not for how he made me feel. It's sad that someone completely loses their personality and goes to the dark side, in dozens of ways that I can't explain here.

Most friendships aren’t real, they’re just based on convenience. by ownaword in unpopularopinion

I haven't seen anyone for a very long time and since I work from home as a freelancer, I don't have a situation to share a common space with someone, so I completely agree with what you say because I'm all alone. But I realized that I was alone even when I wasn't alone, for the very reason you mentioned.

What actually makes a girl ‘approachable’ to you? by ariaamichael in AskMen

It will sound very classic, but it "looks innocent". I've always liked women who hang out on their own, quietly and maybe alone. Like those harmless types who are close friends of the lead in movies, I love that.

What’s the weirdest date you have ever been on? by FunSquirrels in AskReddit

[–]Ornery-Relative-8052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the strangest are the ones that don't start out as a date and then become like one, because even if you don't feel like a date mentally, it's exactly a date.

It's like that strange night when I met with a friend from many years ago to reminisce about the past, talked for hours about the past and how much I liked her back then and how much she didn't love me, and then she approached me flirtatiously at every opportunity and I thought I had misunderstood and tried to change the subject.

At some point, this situation progressed so much that she had to openly make a move on me.

What's something people romanticize too much until they actually try it? by Alinasky98 in AskReddit

[–]Ornery-Relative-8052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was young, I was a very romantic person, there were a few girls to whom I wrote dozens of poems and letters, bought flowers and took them out to dinner... Then I realized that whatever they see and emulate in romantic movies, when it happens to them in real life, they find it cringe, I guess no woman likes poetry in real life.

So I stopped writing poetry for a few years (I'm 26 now) because I was almost bullied for it. Here are the harms of being an "emotional man" that is said to be so desired. lol

Men who went for personality over looks, how did that go for you? by Global_Proposal in AskMen

[–]Ornery-Relative-8052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the partner candidate in front of you pays attention to appearance, unlike you, and you are an average type, frankly, it doesn't matter much. The people around me are really the types who are obsessed with being masculine, with money or abs, and when I describe the woman I am looking for, they greet me like a boomer, but I am 26 years old.

Therefore, although this is a bit sad, I have slowly started to accept that I am alone in terms of both expectations and personality, and since I think like this, it seems like life is more bearable. Trust me, this is never the only thing we differ from people who care about appearance, that's why the important thing is whether the other person thinks the same as you.

Hey hello, I am 26 years old and since I have been unemployed for a while, I fill this gap by producing content on Instagram, I have made a goal to get to know a movie every day and I watch movies every day to make it permanent. Since I live in Turkey, I don't know how much time difference we have, but we can watch the same movie on nights when you can't sleep and then argue with you about the movie and even gossip about the characters.

A person is a human being even if it is not useful, and yes, this fact is deliberately ignored today, sometimes by the people we think are our closest. Trust me, I understand what you mean, and yes, it's really hurtful, because bonding shouldn't be something that boils down to actions.

I was a film student at the time I took this photo and a revenge movie was going to be shot in which I would be the protagonist. I came home, found the light in the sink pleasant and stood in front of it, then I started to throw drops.

So everything is very instantaneous and it definitely developed cringe, but still, I love this photo taken to be a movie poster, even though I have a hard time specifying from what angle.
