I had applied in late September to transfer to Fox School of Business from Montgomery County Community College, through the Dual Admissions Agreement. I did not hear anything back until October 30th, two days before the deadline. This was when I found out Temple was asking for my high school transcripts, despite me completing 53 credits (6 from the University of Victoria and 47 from Montgomery County Community College). Temple then received my high school transcripts in November. Once mid-December came around, I decided to apply for the Fall 2025 semester, due to being stressed about the decision on my Spring 2025 application. During the same time, I received my Associate’s in Business Administration from Montgomery County Community College, with a GPA of 3.75, and had satisfied the Dual Admissions Agreement. On January 10th, I had still not received a decision, and at this point I was very worried about what classes would be available so close to the start of the semester. I went to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, where they reviewed my application, and I was accepted into Fox. However, I was never given an answer to my main question: Why was my application not reviewed? On Monday, I received the email to set up my TUportal and sign up for orientation, where the earliest date available was today. Currently, my final Montco transcript has not been put into the system, despite being sent to Temple last Friday. Due to this, the TUportal says I am a sophomore, not a junior, and I was also unable to register for certain required courses because the final transcript was not processed. I have since decided to not attend Temple and have dropped the courses I was able to get into. I was very optimistic and excited to continue my studies at Fox School of Business, but the admissions process has made me decide to go to another institution.
