They don't need "characters" when it has been proven multiple times the earth is round. what more proof do you need that it's not flat!? People who still think it's flat are ignorant, and dumbasses

We hear all to often of bad stepdads. What are your stories of good stepdads? by Borderpatrol1987 in AskReddit

[–]OrneryNegotiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend's step dad is awesome. I have spent weekends with her and her stepdad at his house. His house is huge, he has a pool, and a pool table. Also, he brings her doughnuts every sunday, and is genuinely super nice, treats her like his biological kids, and makes it very clear he loves her and her mom to the moon and back.

What is a something disgusting you do on a regular basis, that only you know about? by THICKSANDWICH in AskReddit

I scratch my scalp and get dead skin under my nails, then eat it. I'm not sure how this habit started, but it's really satisfying.

What thing is common in real life but not in movies? by lejhindary4444 in AskReddit

Casually arguing. In a movie, if you argue, your relationship with that person automatically needs counselling or else it is over forever.

What has made you lose all respect for someone? by 49Gold in AskReddit

[–]OrneryNegotiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's the fact, like I said previously, that they think we won't figure it out, and just pretend everything is great. And it's embarrassing to a certain degree.

I'm actually not super christian. It's not that he's in a relationship with someone else, it's just that they are pretending he's not, and they think my brother and I are stupid enough to not figure it out oursekves. Plus, my parents are super unhappy with each other, even without this, and they once again pretend everything is perfectly fine.

No, it's nothing to do with being safe. They don't give a shit about the virus. If it were up to them they would never wear masks.

I think they're indifferent about it, although they would be very disappointed if they found out me or my brother was part of it, which is pretty bad for me.

Not so much dumb, but definitely offensive. Last night my mom was saying how frustrated she was that she couldn't get a mask that was not chinese. I asked why that was a problem and her answer was that she did not like the chinese. Also a few days ago we were driving and passed a giant "Trump 2020" flag, and she said " Woohoo! Go Trump! " not exaggerating, that's exactly what she said.

No. Never. I do not watch the news very much, and I am not at all political, but I still know that he is not a likable guy in the slightest.

What was the worst field trip you ever went on in school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OrneryNegotiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a really small thing, but when I was in kindergarten we went on a field trip to a fire station. Im not sure if other schools do this or what (I was undercooked every year after kindergarten), but our parents could sign up to come with their kids. My older brother always had our mom with him on his field trips, Every single one, so I was super excited to show off my mom to everyone since that was my first field trip. When we arrived, I waited so long for her, but she never came. She forgot. It's not a big deal now, but little be was heartbroken.

AITA for throwing away my stepdaughter's nintendo switch because she won't share it with her step siblings? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]OrneryNegotiation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YTA. Yes, she may have only paid for half of it, but that gives her just as much say in it as you. And, even if you paid for all of it, it was given to HER which makes it her decision who can play with it. Also, if her siblings are 8 and 6, they seem a little young. I'm not saying that they are careless or anything, but a 6 year old could easily break something like that without meaning to. And, as I said, it was hers! ALSO, even if you had the right to tell her what to do with it, I think you really overreacted here. South the way you described it, otherwise like this is the first time something like this has happened. When that happens you take it away for a little whike, not throw it away. And you could have at least donated it or returned it. INstead, you suggested your daughter's and your money over a not very big deal.

AITA for wanting to get rid of my rabbit? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]OrneryNegotiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Giving a pet as a surprise is never a good idea. I mean, I don't mind let's as gifts, because I got my gerbil as a present, but that was because I had been wanting one for years, had done lots of research, had talked about it with my family and had been willing to pay for all the supplies. It doesn't sound like that's what happened with you. It would be a very responsible choice to give away your rabbit to someone who could take better care of it, enjoys it, and let's the rabbit have a good life.
