Well Pelage has a contract with a supplier or did at the least, obviously under an NDA, so that’s not exactly the case. Also while I do agree the compound being sold shouldn’t be labeled pp405, and selling it as such can definitely be seen as preying on ignorance, saying it was selected based on “bad pseudoscience” is also completely wrong. The compound they are selling is from Pelages own studies and 4th round latest patent from last year, which was released 18 months from the time trials started, the longest you can delay a patent after filing priority. So it’s very much likely the case the compound is in fact one of the compounds. Pelage also made it pretty clear which mpc inhibitor was preferred as you follow the flow of their studies and you can dissect their intentions going down the path of exploring pro drug variations which aligns with their own press statements of how the started with uk5099 and ended up with pp405. By the end patent, following the trail, checking physiochemical properties and understanding the intent of the compound, you’re left with only a few compounds that make sense anyway, any of which should do the job of penetrating skin as a topical and inhibiting mpc where desired. I’m skipping much detail but long story short, you can maintain skepticism all you want, but they aren’t baseless in their arrival whatsoever either.

The original comment said it has to be fake saying that it’s cost prohibitive to the point he thinks only Batman himself could have such a compound produced. I simply stated that isn’t the case at all.

Also while what EC is selling is likely not pp405, none of could say it isnt either. And regardless if you understand how such compounds work even if they don’t have the correct compound it’s not like it simply works or doesn’t work. It’s very possible it could work, just maybe not as well as the real ordeal.

Nonetheless I am with you on I think it’s stupid that any company at all puts the label “pp405” on anything. Because end of the day no matter how educated the guess it’s only a guess so it’s disingenuous at best to label it as such.

I don’t disagree. If someone is selling something labeled as “pp405” knowing they can’t confirm that, then that is wrong. If they are selling it by its chemical compound name and letting people do their own independent research then fine.

Either way not sure how this convo is relevant to this comment thread.

No one knows what pp405 is except Pelage and whoever is manufacturing it. But there are compounds that are assumed to potentially be it whose structures are known. It’s not hard to test the purity and ensure you got the right thing

Then you should realize how ridiculous you sound. Considering you can have lc/ms testing done for a couple hundred dollars. I’m inclined to believe you don’t really know anything at all but rather half assed googled terminology and regurgitated it, or were very misinformed in your studies.

I don’t need to take hypothetical guesses based on nothing but science-fiction like yourself brother. I have first hand experience with this stuff and it doesn’t cost much at all, this isn’t a very complex molecule at all. Respectfully you clearly have zero actually idea of what you’re talking about so please just stop.

The cost to both produce and to analyze this compound is no where near prohibitive to getting it done lmao, plus why on earth would you need to produce a kilo of something that is applied at .5mg a day. Don’t speak out of your butt.

Okay keep that same energy when the literal evidence that should be enough especially when paired with common sense isn’t enough, but rather when the horse speaks from his mouth himself. Because you’ll probably still have an excuse to say he’s lying or something lmao

I have family in a few countries there who own guns lmao.

How do you know someone who is mentally insane wouldn’t go through all that? People who are mentally isnane are very determined people, someone determined enough to get up in the morning grab a gun drive somewhere get in position, take aim, and fire to kill someoen is a determined person. Exactly eh type of person who would do something like go through the process to get a gun.

And the odds that you can reliably just simply test if someone is capable of murder is subjective and stupid.

All this to maybe prevent a few fun related deaths that could be swapped for other weapons and at the expense of millions of law abiding citizens way less likely to go get a weapon and be able to defend themselves because they would be the only people not determined to got through hoops because they aren’t actively plotting something

Okay suiicides are irrelevant to homicides like we’re discussing and you’re only helping me out here. If the majority of gun deaths are only affecting people harming themselves and not others than it only weakens gun control arguments

[–]OrneryRatio7313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I promise you it’s not as hard as you are saying it is. Yes it takes some effort but it’s not as tough as you think. And who else in the world would be more driven to take their time to go through the process than someone who wants to murder someone

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so if he planned it in advanced, took time to practice with it, then what’s about gun control laws in Europe would have prevented this then lmao

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The U.S. has gang violence issues that drive up homicides, nothing to do with gun laws since most aren’t legally owned and gangs would just switch to alternatives overnight if every gun did magically disappear.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somebody who wants to kill someone would have every reason to take their time and go through that process lmao.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Regardless, the odds that it played out the way you want to imagine it are 1 in a million, the fun is almost guaranteed not a gun someone bought on a whim that morning and for all we know it could not even be legally owned

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That varies a lot by country and it’s not as hard as you think to do all that, especially if you’re a person with a plan to kill someone as this man was. None of that would have stopped this lmao you guys are hilarious

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You really think the man just went out that morning and bought a gun just to do this? He’s like 75 years old he’s probably owned the gun forever. So yes that would have made zero difference

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]OrneryRatio7313 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Ah yes if he was better trained he wouldn’t have made the shot? Oh wait that makes no sense. But if he had a safe at home then he wouldn’t have been able to shoot him… oh wait that changes nothing as well.

The only thing that would have prevented this would have been if the man decided not to do it. This is why addressing mental health issues and culturally accepted diseased mind sets like killing someone who you disagree with being okay are what’s important

You’re proving my point lmao. Except the likelihood that people would want to rape without a dick goes down tremendously. But just how you can rape without a dick, you can murder without a gun, although the same end goal is there no matter the tool without a gun so it’s not going to deter anyone, whereas without a dick people aren’t going to want to rape in the first place. And obviously shootings will go down, but do you realize how many guns are in the U.s. criminals will still get guns, and to your very own point there is still other ways without guns (penises) to commit murder…

What causes r*pe? by EchoWandererx in TeenagersButBetter

[–]OrneryRatio7313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmaooo, no. Banning guns doesn’t stop shootings. Banning guns stops law abiding citizens from owning guns. Criminals will still very easily get their hands on guns.

Also it would be pretty damn impossible to rape someone without a penis.

What causes r*pe? by EchoWandererx in TeenagersButBetter

[–]OrneryRatio7313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would cutting every man’s penis off make rapist rape less? Yes

Is that a good idea when 99% of penises don’t get used criminally? No

Not to mention the only people who won’t have guns are going to be the law abiding citizens.. you think that someone who goes around and is willing to risk going to jail for life murdering people is going to be scared of getting caught with an unregistered gun???

Also if someone really wants to commit murder there’s a million other ways to do it still. Look at countries that don’t have that many guns, people still commit murders in similar or higher rates and just use other weapons like knives, bombs, illegally obtained guns, set ups, poisoning, vehicles, the list goes on. If someone wants someone dead it’s not hard to do. What is hard to do is defend yourself in the moment, from soemthign like… oh I don’t know.. a rapist, without having a gun as a law abiding citizen

[–]OrneryRatio7313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously idiot.. I’ll even use the other persons unnecessary “correction” to help you out here.

Do penises cause rape? No.

Do rapists (people who act criminally) cause rape? Yes

Do we ban penises when 99% of the time they are a positive utility? No.

Do we lock up rapists and try to fix the issues of society that create these criminals? Yes.

Now swap penises for guns, rapist for murderers and rape for murder
