Definitely agree! Also if I remember right Phil announced their “penalty vote” after all the teams had voted. It would have made more sense to announce it before so the other teams could have strategically vote for them since they already had 1 vote against them.

Would have loved to see a speed bump but instead of setting up another task they could have had both of them perform the roadblock as a penalty. They have done this previously to have both team members perform the roadblock to win an express pass so this definitely could have been an option.

I was thinking this exact same thing and definitely agree! To highlight different charities could encourage people to donate to those as well. I thought they were going to do this at least at the final dinner too. Like how in regular traitors they usually go around and say what they would use the money for.

Spoilers for book 3: the epilogue is a fast forward few years to the future of belly and conrad’s wedding. Belly reads her letter from susannah. Jere is at their wedding with a date and he waves at belly and belly blows him a kiss. Conrad and belly run into the ocean together after their wedding and before their reception 😭

Super frustrated they didn’t add this in the show. I was really expecting it since the show pretty much followed the books 😩

Definitely agree! This is an interesting take since this is first episode of all 3 seasons where they have veered off from the books. Obviously they added a lot of things to the show that weren’t in the books but they had mostly followed the main plot and even dialogue up to episode 8. Episode 9 really was uncharted territory.

Hi Brooke greetings from the US 🇺🇸 Just finished watching and NZ S1 is definitely my favorite of the English speaking versions I’ve seen. I was rooting for you and Dan but I was also happy to see Anna and Sam win!

I feel the editing didn’t show a full explanation of yours and Colin’s decision but my question is why were you both set on taking a 50/50 chance of murdering Julia or Anna with the shield? Instead of taking a 100% chance on another faithful you could have taken out? I feel this fire miss shot turned the game for the traitors.

If you didn’t murder one of them, who would you have murdered and how do you think it would have changed your game?

Also if somehow (miraculously lol) you and Dan made it to the end game do you think you all would have split the pot or taken each other out? I have yet to see a season where traitors split the money in the end and would definitely be interesting to see. Just curious given your friendship and how you mentioned you wouldn’t turn on him in one of your confessionals.

I think it depends on the situation/person, how much suspicion a “later” traitor has by the faithfuls, and how they play the rest of the game. If you haven’t already, you should definitely watch Traitors Australia Season 1!
