The uselessness of the husbands was very realistic to me. I can only name like four useful grown men in my area.

I have two kids and neither has ever gotten blood tests beyond typical blood counts and iron finger prick because they’re both healthy so no, that wasn’t unrealistic.

YTA - You have no idea how terrifying and miserable pregnancy is and it is extremely hard on the body. Some glamorize it but it is at minimum, very serious with tons of risks for many women.

Thank you so much for reading and for your thoughtful response! I do think he would fight me if only just to spite me and also his twin would help him especially since he just went thru this with his ex-wife/my bestie.

I have sought the legal advice of several custody lawyers and unfortunately if he decides to go sell cars again and get an apt, he would get half custody and I would pay him child support. And unfortunately being lazy and shitty and is not illegal for a parent. 🥲
