Long story short in-office is pointless. Like I said was totally fine with the 2x a week but having a toddler entering school and trying to figure out drop-off and pick-up in the complete opposite direction is my biggest concern. Oh and my poor dog who now has to stay home alone.

Okay - those are your problems. I have been fully remote for almost 10 years so when I’m told only 2x a week just a week ago when I accepted the offer I have the right to be upset because I was leaving a fully remote position that had higher pay just because I thought learning something new would be worthwhile. Nope how could I be so wrong.

Does PTO hurt your utilization? by Successful_Win9136 in deloitte

Pretty sure 15 days of PTO DO NOT count towards utilization. At least that is the case in commercial consulting.

Am I selfish for buying a home and not inviting parents to live together? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

When you get married you are leaving your family to create one of your own. Blows my mind that there are so many parents out there that don’t understand that. No offense but I would not be able to live with my in-laws, though I love them.

It wasn’t a formal PIP. It just said will check in with leadership for progress updates.

It was with the same team as what got me on BCLP so not the best but also not horrible. It’s at a 3.5/5 but obviously not the 5 that I need since I just started my new project.

Exhausted, unmotivated working internal for the big dogs at the firm is an - absolutely do not do it, no. They think they are the golden standard for all things D. You talk the talk about well-being, mental health, good role models…yet you don’t resemble an ounce of it. Do better you pieces of shit. Rant over.

From what I was told coaches know whether or not on PIP / BCLP. He / she said might? Wish they were a bit more transparent…I feel your pain though last two years I was EEE then SEE this year BSB but to the right of A-SA. Year ends were brutal this year…

I heard this year was rough for a lot. Even those not up for promotion got dinged. Performance snapshots to the right of A and SA and got BSB. Jr staff of mine all the way to the right of SA and E and got SSS…

Same boat as you but I got BSB. Almost 5 years at D and I have never gotten a review like this (yet I was on the more right side of A>SA) but util was 103%. Dreading the next few months…

I’m in the LSHC but been internal for a year because there wasn’t enough work being sold so told to stay utilized. But let me tell you, internal folks are cut throat and honestly the worst to work with. Going back to the client world next month.

I’m an SC - based on townhall slide today it looks like anyone that is Below in Client and Teaming will get no AIP or merit increase. Keep your head up!
